Following a couple of PM's, I just wanted to clarify your mission status

We create about ten flavours a year. We get our in house testers to give them a good going over and, from that, we get a short list. We whittle this down to a couple or so and we then market them.

This time, the in house testers have got left us with four flavours that they like. You are going to get these and help us to decide which two or three will go on the market this year. Exciting, isn't it!!

I hope that this is ok with all the winners and that you still want to get involved. We like the idea of including the community in flavour development and hope that you do too.

First shipments going out tomorrow - we are a little bit nervous AND a little bit excited at the same time

They are pretty much good to go but, as with all juices, flavour builds over time. You'll certainly get the flavour from this point onwards

Mine also arrived Yesterday but I was away for the Weekend so I will get into them in the coming Weekdays. I've got drippers setup but will need to get some tanks cleaned and ready.

Generals Juices

So….these should be good I thought. Should be some real “in-your-face” powerhouse juices in this samples set. Man style juices.

Instead I have an array of light and fruity little numbers. Not so much stomping off to war as mincing around the barracks. Not really fitting the branding maybe?
Anyway……..my expectations aside……these are GOOD juices.
Quality juices.

Sniper
Lime Starburst (they are still Opal Fruits to me)...meets Robinsons Lemon Barley.....with a light menthol lift…. just enough to make the fruit flavour pop. It’s a nice palate cleanser and a great cure for vapours tongue.

Reminds me of Digby's Gunpowder….without the mint.

Creamy banana…..this one is great at higher temperatures as it gets more luxurious.

Reminds me of Bryces Banana Creme Pudding

Spearmint Menthol……nice tasting mint in this one and the menthol isn't too overpowering. Like an everlasting chewing gum

For me…this is the best of the bunch. It’s that sweetened, flavoured milk you get after you finish a bowl of cereal…..wait……
I’m describing Carpe Diem’s Munch Crunch……..very similar tasting juice.


As I said…….the juices are good……and the fact that they remind me of some great brands like Bryces, Carpe Diem and Digby’s is no small achievement by the mixing team.
But from my point of view it’s also a negative.
I was hoping to be blown away by something………something original……and I’m sorry but I wasn’t.

It will be interesting to hear from the other tasters as I'm a fussy sod with juices.

Thanks for the review Kreed - we take lots and lots of positives from your comments. It's great to have honest and considered feedback from a 'fussy sod' and we appreciate you taking time out to share your views. Hopefully, you'll volunteer to get involved again in the future as we develop more flavours.
