Like I said you need to make sure that your charger has a ce mark.
Personally my charger is connected to something that is capable of giving much higher power but I am happy that it draws only the correct current and that it is safe.
Having seen a few batteries explode if you are not sure dont do it. ALWAYS look for ce marks. They are there to keep you safe

Thanks for the feedback guys, probably best not to haha. Would the USB plug from myepack do the job? Lots of people on here do I like to make sure, those are bought from china, mass produced and sold on at a profit. Better option than your phone charger, but to be totally safe buy branded.
Thanks, any chance you can point me in the direction for branded UK plugs

You will need a wall plug at 500 mAh max OneZeroNyne, anything above will degrade the battery over time. Failing that just use your PC USB for now. Also it's better to not leave the battery unattended whilst charging (i.e overnight whilst sleeping or when you go out) for safety reasons It is my understanding that a usb device tells said port what power it requires therefore if device (cable or built in ) are working correctly using an apple charger should be no problem, Also people seem hung up on this 500ma & saying use pc usb to be safe but usb 3.0 delivers 900ma

All my wall plugs and usb leads have a joyetech logo on them, I know I am as safe as can be with proper use. 1000ma joyetech branded .... Double the 500ma

I use a certified six USB A outlet 10A charger block - it is regulated and will only output what is required from the device over each output, so I can charge 6 x 500mA eGos or 5 x 2A iPhones if I had some, or if there was such a device 2 x 5A.
The main thing to remember is that you get a properly certified USB wall plug or charger and that the output is => required input of device, and never leave them unattended.

Ok so after reading everyone's replies I'm absolutely baffled, way to confusing for me. Think I'm just going to use a USB port on my pc for now.

For charging from a wall socket you will need a plug adapter like the one HERE or HERE

Assuming the charger is designed to proper safety standards, the max current output is not an issue.
Current is pulled from the charger by the device. The device regulates the charging current, not the charger. The real question here is "can we trust battery manufacturers to design and manufacture devices properly, and safely?"
Any decent device will draw only the current required to charge itself. A well designed mobile phone for example could be charged from a 10A rated charger as safely as from one rated at 1A, because the device only draws the current required.
Ego batteries and mods with inbuilt batteries such as the MVP should have circuitry built onboard to handle charging. If they do not, they should not be on sale in the UK or EU. External batteries such as 18650s are different of course, and rely on the charger regulating the output.
