Think i would wait until they are less than 10¢, the bigger question is when will the Big Tobacco and Pharma companies follow suit It's a good point. Somehow (regrettably) I suspect that BT companies are partly responsible for the disastrous climate. Blu alone have spent £20,000,000 pushing their products into the vacuum being created by the demise of the "mall brands".... It's all very uncertain.

The share price for ECIG closed 7.6% down in just one day. A few more days like this, and it's the end.
They might fight back, but they're not going to 'find' $150,000,000 by selling shares. Not a chance.

I should imagine their biggest risk is a takeover.

I should imagine their biggest risk is a takeover. Hmm. That's very likely... given recent trends. It would probably be a very sensible move for the 'people' behind ECIG. They're not going to make it back from the current position. E-Lites did themselves proud selling out to Japan Tobacco. I suggested they retired to the Bahamas last year... maybe they will, except the directors have agreed to stay on for a while. Something has got to give in the cig-a-like market. I suspect BT will win, but the pickings will be very small in this segment of the e-cig market, unless the colossal marketing budget of BT can reverse the lack of interest (currently) in cig-a-like market. I don't see small e-cigs anywhere any more. Who are Blu and all the rest hoping to sell to?

That's where the TPD/FDA come into play, roll the clock back two years and the cigalike gold rush gets a second wind.

UPDATE. Oh... breaking news. ECIG are now down 71% on the New York Stock Exchange. $20 shares (release price) now trading at $2.82. They are definitely in deeper trouble every day. It could soon be RIP, VIP. RIP, VIP....

I don't see small e-cigs anywhere any more. Who are Blu and all the rest hoping to sell to? I am a mental health service user and I see similar service users extolling cig a likes all the time... So I do my bit for world peace and ignore their carers and give them an AAEC card...... I did it on tuesday despite the chap's carer saying 'he's been off the stinkies for 3 months - this e-cig is amazing' - it was a cig a like I had a cig a like - back in the day (titan from TW) - it did not get me off stinkies. It just 'had potential' and before any service users or their friends/family/carers have a go at me there are far cheaper mouthpiece/cartridges online if you want to take that route with far better batteries........for example - www.cavecom.com/screwdriverSD/index.shtml and www.cavecom.com/screwdriverSD/shopSD/cartomisers.shtml and this guy is an e-cig legend so I have no guilty conscience recommending himI had a cig a like - back in the day (titan from TW) - it did not get me off stinkies.
