Hi all,

I'm going to be working away for a couple of weeks and I'll be leaving a few 18650s at home. They will be in battery boxes but I was wondering what voltage to leave them at. 3 are at 3.7v already and I've put these to one side now. The rest I'll use until at the same voltage. Is this the right thing to do? I recall reading 3.7v is a good level to leave them at. Oh I'm using a vamo to check the voltages. Thanks.

It's about 40% state of charge, so depends on the battery, but around 3.7 V should be close.

3.6-3.7 is the usual recommendation. The Vamo voltmeter isn't 100% but it's good enough for this sort of thing. Ideally keep them cool. This is not normally an issue in the UK in November...
