I dont care about how fit looking Jonny Depp is, I'd just like a willing man with muscles!! to do the DIY and heavy duty houseworkI've the worst back (knees/hips/elbows/shoulders) in history and everything I do seems to exhaust me and I really REALLY begrudge having to bend down 30+ times within half an hour to pick up everything my man/kids/dog casually abandons on the floor. Every room has a bin and wash-basket and after 20 years I havnt succeeded in training any of my lot to use them? I cant help but get enraged when my fella strolls into the bedroom starkers, scrubs himself with his boxers and drops them on floor NEXT to the wash basket  I could weep..... |

I foster care, usually for 12 to 17 year olds and as such am governed by rules of privacy (for the young person not me) and their rights concerning their bedroom and their rights to make their own choices. I used to get upset over the state of the room and try and get them to clean it and keep it tidy etc. Now after a number of years I must admit I'm relaxed more relaxed about it and when the mess starts to invade the hall I just kick it back in the room and shut the door. Why should I worry and fight with both young people and social workers about it and give myself grey hair and wrinkles  |
