I'm vaping £5 of red Astair aday, i don't really have the time to re-coil and stuff ( or can't be bothered! ) so time you factor in battery wear, coils etc I'm not saving much money compared to smoking, so need to knock up a job lot of this from their concentrate.
Anyway I have got the all gear and will hopefully get round to doing this at the weekend but have one question;
re-using the stuff, syringes, needles, measuring jugs etc rinse/soak in hot water and put in sealed bags and they good to use again?
Thanks.

I just wash my mixing equipment with washing up liquid, rinse and let them air dry, then chuck em all back in the mixing kit box (which is an old ice cream tub)
Works for me, even strong concentrates don't seem to make the tiny syringes smell after a wash.
edit.....just re read your post.....£5 of red Astaire........a day......I'd be icon_shoppingm You definitely need to get mixing, makes things a lot less expensive

I can mix 180ml of Red Astaire for about £15 all in, including bases etc. It will save you a fortune - get to it, @letsavit!! I have a bowl of warm water handy, and when I have used a syringe, and between uses, I sluice a couple of fills of warm water through it, give is a whizz in the water to remove concentrate or base on the outside of the needle, and wipe dry with some kitchen towel ready for use again. When I've finished, they get wrapped in more towel and stashed in my concs box for the next session. As syringes are just so cheap, they last forever. The plunger broke on my last 5ml one today, so must order another. Less than a quid, and this one has worked its magic for well over a year now Remember to cover the indices and markings with sellotape or clear nail varnish so that they don't rub off.

Is that 10ml a day you're going through mate? Seems like a lot of juice, if you get a 30ml bottle of Red Astaire concentrate it'll cost you around £9. Mixing that at 15% will make you 200ml of Red Astaire, so you'll save £91 before adding costs of nic base, pg and vg which don't cost very much.
If you're wanting to save more money, try rebuilding your own coils. It seems complicated at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll be recoiling and rewicking in 5-10 minutes. Rebuilding with microcoils lengthens the lifespan of coils, lasting a month or more with proper care. So one little piece of wire will save you a small fortune on ready made coils.
Once you start saving the money from doing these things, you won't want to go back to spending, spending, spending!!
As far as reusing your mixing gear, that's totally fine. Never had any of my mixes taste of a concentrate that shouldn't be in them.

I don't use syringes at all any more. Too much faffing around. I mix my standard base (vg and nic) in a 500ml bottle using a measuring cylinder. I drip the flavour into a smaller bottle and fill up with base. It's not as exact, but it is close enough and means there is nothing to clean

Thanks for the advice and tips guys.
Yes I'm vaping 10ml of RA a day, have about another 30 juices from triphammer, digbys , mount baker etc and although some are nice I vape about a mil and I'm back on the RA again. So for now I give up and except it is by far my favourite juice.
To be honest I went in to this with a "I don't care for cost I just want to give up smoking for my health" attitude. Love the hobby side of it but when I logged on to my t juice account and added up all my orders it was quite a shock...! Yes have re coiled and wicked and have 5 on the side to do, it's on my list of things to do.
Anyway I will still spend on new gear when budget allows but can't be vaping over £5 aday so mixing this weekend is it.
Thanks guys

Here is a thought..... Have you tried upping your Nic, it may be that you are not satisfying your Nic craving and as a result, are sucking the hell out of it. As I said..... Just a thought !

RA has ben my staple mix for a little while now. I normally make it 150ml at a time (only because thats thats what I get from 30ml concentrate) into 3 x 50ml bottles. That will last me a month but I do use other juices in between. I used to use syringes and pipettes but now I use these 50 ml cylinders HERE, makes it far far easier. I use 3 x 50ml cylinders, 10ml of RA in each. I have a 10ml cylinder that I only use for nic - measure and pour into each one. I have one more 50ml cylinder for measuring the VG - measure and pour into each one. This one is the most useful as VG can be a bugger but not with this method! Then I top up each cylinder to 50ml with PG. In a few minutes I have 150ml of RA and all I have to wash up is 5 measuring cylinders

Quite the opposite, iv lowered my nicotine because I think I was overdosing at the start, might lower again to 10mg soon.

I'd not normally order from TW just because of their prices but I think I ordered 5 cylinders and a few other bits and pieces for less than a tenner, their mixing accessories aren't too bad.
