jaysey I think that might be the problem......its overpowered when full charged? I might be wrong but mine is a LOT better now it's down to about 2/3rd battery level. Someone else needs to chip in here to explain, I'm not technical. I nearly put mine on the classies earlier! AND I've another one on the slow boat from China! Hope I have sussed it by then

Mines a fab vape at 6 watts with a 1.7ohm coil . . . using a humble Evod, fully charged as well. No burnt taste at all.

Perpetua how long have you been using yours? Clutching at straws here......don't suppose they just need using a bit to settle down? A daft idea, but if yours is fully charged and you aren't getting burned hits, then it can't be that causing it! Got mine yesterday so very new. I'll persevere a few days and see........

One I collected this morning sleedale, so been using that pretty much all day - the other is a week old, from a different source. But I didn't have any burnt issues with that either . . . running that at 7 watts with a 2.6ohm top coil clearo.

That seems to be the answer.....3.3v isn't so far off the 7w on these? Mine is ok atm, 1.7 ohm, 3.2v 6.3w and is ok with PT2 micro coil and cw it stays that way.....I really, really love the device aesthetics. Nice to hold and use, small, light, easy to carry around and the screen and info are really good, especially after peeps on here told us to remove the plastic and the blue is a lovely colour, so looking forward to the red/pink/cerise whatever one arriving. Thanks Perpetua, it's helpful to share info

I don't know if this will help at all but I will try explaining what I learnt today. The device cannot put out less voltage than what the battery is charged to so my understanding is that no matter what you set the screen to it will not power below the battery level but it will regulate up. So if your wattage will require at least 4.1-2 volts fresh off charge then you will be ok but if the wattage you set will require less voltage, it will stick to whatever the battery capacity is. hope it makes sense! very confusing little thing isn't it ! But I forgive it it's quirks as it looks sooooo good !

One of the many things in life that I don't understand is why my Istick, that only arrived today, and set to a mere 3v with a mini-aspire tank thing, is giving me more flavour and vapour than I got using the same thing on my Vamo...
Loving it so far, and have another one on it's way from China.
Couldn't wait so ordered one from Vape escape. Two days from order to arrival...
