I'm used to using tanks, and this is the first time using a boge carto. I'm loving it so far, but the throat hit is a bit too much first thing in the mornings. So I might get the normal ones next...but I succumbed and ordered some lr kanger cartos....my logic went out the window when I went to order some juice ???
I'm wondering how long these boge lr cartos will last? Can I physically tell, or will I get a burnt taste consistently?

You will know when they are done the draw will become a lot stiffer - some people get a few days from them some get a week and some even a month depends a lot on what you are vaping it on and how much of which juice you are putting through it

Hi SG1 and welcome to the forum the life of a carto as with attys depend on how much you vape and what you vape... clearer juices tend to be kinder to carto than dark juices. for a moderate to heavy vaper you'll get a week out of one but for lighter users a month or so isnt unheard of what tends to happen over time is the coil gets clogged up with the juice residue and reduces flavour and vapour production. you may also notice a tightening of the draw. some peeps will give them a clean out with hot water of vodka and then stick them in the freezer over night to extend their life but personally for the cost of them i just throw them and crack out a new one

Thanks for the replies I'm using them with an ego vv battery, mostly on the 3.7v. Normally I vape 1-2mls a day, but I ordered a pick and mix, and went through around 5-10mls in a few days, but I've tappered that down now. Another quick question, can I use lr boge cartos with a 510 standard manual battery? As the ego vv battery is too chunky for pub/socialising. And I don't want to go back to tanks, because they just suck compared to these cartos.

Not advisable. Better to use SR with 510 standard batteries

As Anne quite rightly said it's not advisable the LR pulls (or attempts to) more power from the battery - unfortunately the smaller batteries weren't made with this in mind and simply can't supply enough power quickly enough and it may damage them

One thing I've noticed with my new Lavatube is that I can dial in the voltage where ever I feel like it being. So in the morning, I don't need such a big hit, I can have a lower voltage and if I'm having a beer or want a bigger hit, I can just wind it up. I've never needed to go past 4.9 volts yet!

Hello & welcome SG1 Agrees with Anne & Mark, your standard 510 battery hasn't a high enough mAh to use an LR Cartomiser/atomiser with it. Plus I doubt the button circuitry could cope with the pwer draw.

depends on what people class as standard 510 battery IMO ... I've been using ego / tornado / riva batteries ... are they standard ? It's the standard I started vaping with ...

Standard batteries are the slim fagalike type batteries.A Tornegova battery will handle an LR atomiser/cartomiser just fine from my experiences anyway :)In saying that ive been using a 2ohm Boge on an old 510 fagalike battery and its working great, its the 1.5ohm atomisers that will kill off a fagalike battery very quickly.Just my 2p worth of course

Sorry Storm.I read through the thread a bit to fast and it turns out i didnt really answer the question :)A Boge carto in a tank is lasting me on average a week before the flavour drops off and the draw gets to tight.I used to clean them but i now just bin them and add a new one to my tank. For some reason my LRs seem to lasting alot longer than my standard res ones and some even vape well for a good two weeks lately.

Possibly because they burn a bit hotter Ian, they probably self clean by burning the "crud" off the coils?

I think you are rite Des mate.I had never considered that before but it makes perfect sense.Im getting on average a week out of an SR an two out of an LR pretty regularly.Oh well,i may just stick to the 2ohm Boges from now on as they are great at 4-4.5v on my VVs.

Sorry Storm, as Ian says, a standard 510 battery is the original slim (mini) 510. TW give them the name of Titan, but most seller just call them 510 batteries/kits.
