Hi Guys,

I have been smoking for over 40 years, yes I started young :-) , and have not had a ciggie for the last 3 weeks. Feeling very proud of myself, thanks to e-cigs. However these are costing me about as much as smoking did and I need a way to reduce the overall running costs. I like the e-cigs because of their convenience and the fact that I can put them in my trouser pocket and sit down without them breaking/leaking. I don't like the battery life (3-4 hours) or the cost.

Does anyone have any suggestions on an upgrade. I know the initial costs will be large(ish) but hopefully the running costs will be lower.

let me guess, does it look like a plastic cigarette? (E-Lites, Nicolites, 10 Motives?)

Those are not much good. I could bore you with a page about why they are rubbish, cost a small fortune and probably don't work for many people, but that would be harsh.

You'll get lots of advice on here. I'll leave it to the team to talk you through it all. Well done for finding us.

Oh... one statistic to mention.

I vape 2ml of liquid a day. On a refillable that is under £500 per year (although I spend more on gadgets...)

On E-Lites, that is £3,200 per year. When I made this point on the internet, E-Lites decided I was lying and didn't know how to use the product.

I got scared. I phoned a lawyer. Things got nasty.

Then I discovered AAEC.

Hi, yes, sorry forgot to mention that I went to a local supermarket and got the Nicolites/10motives e-cig. I'm not going to complain too much about them as they have stopped my 40 year habit and for that I'm thankful...

Yep as others have said cigalike are and very costly.
There are many good options to choose from. A lot depends upon what form factor you like.
All will be bigger than a cigalike but the benefits in flavour, vapour production, battery life etc will out way the size difference. Would help if you could let us know how much your vapeing a day. Also what strength liquid do you use?

Following some of the links and having a search around I'm thinking of one of these, I really like the idea of replaceable batteries, but I have a couple of questions....

How big are they, does anybody have actual dimensions and
what clearomiser to get with it, they have many to choose from.

Tank wise aero tank mega or either if the nautilus the big nautilus holds 5 mil the mega holds 3.5 mil I think and the mini holds 2 mil.
Both nautilus can use the bvc coils a d the mega can use the unicoil which is much better than the stock heads.
