I noticed this morning that the lcd readout on my charger had gone blank and the little green power light on the power supply was pulsing. I have searched high and low for someone who has had a similar issue but have only found other problems people are having with these chargers, I was completely unaware of them overcharging batteries!
Does anyone on here have any ideas of a possible cause of this? Thanks! I need my batteries!!

Did it come with the 12v adapter plug to use in the car?
Would help you distinguish whether it's the wall plug or the charger itself.. is the fuse changeable in the wall plug?
I know that the overcharging issue was resolved with the later v4 but not sure about the v2..

It did come with the charger for the car.
When I plug it in my vehicle and works correctly so I'm assuming the fuse in the wall outlet power supply has blown. Now I just need to figure out how to replace this because charging in my car all the time is not an option.
Has anyone ever replace the fuse in one of these?

If it's anything like the charger lead on using you can pop open the little while bit on the plug and that's where your fuse is.. Use a thin screwdriver and pop it out! Replace.... Sorted

They are still poor quality, I had a later LUC4 that overcharged. craighoffman187 If it's a 2 amp charger you need I noticed VE Jason has Xtar SP2 at £13.75 and Torchy had them at £15.

Its a case of replacing the wall block. Think its 12v 1amp but you'd need to double check.. you'd need to measure the connector too.

I agree with V.B. forget the rest, SP2 is the best no-nonsense affordable charger.

the shop where I bought the charger replaced the wall adapter with no problem, so I'm back in business
