So, I should get my new istick today along with a aspire k1 tank. I am coming from a few years of vaping with just standard ego batteries and kanger cartomisers.
So I am new to the variable voltage/watt and tank world. So looking for advice.
How do I set it up when I get it and how do I use the vv/vw? Is it just trial and error?
How about maintenance. Do I change the coil when it starts tasting bad? Can all parts of the aspire k1 be cleaned. Can you clean the coils or are they just disposable.
Sorry for all the questions. Some pointers would be appreciated.

Regards vv/vw set it in middle. I go 8 watts and dial up or down to suit your taste

I started ours out on the lowest settings with the istick being overpowered, we're still only using them around 7.5 watt now. 3 clicks of the main button allows you to switch between volts/watts. When you first fill your tank with juice don't forget to leave it to stand for 5 mins or so to allow it to saturate the coil. Also don't screw your tank on too tight to avoid damage.

Don't use the istick for any delicate fruit eliquids such as strawberry, blackcurrant, lychee, snake oil etc. etc. as the juice will taste burnt even at the lowest setting. Good luck getting an aspire anything to fire on an istick!

Start off on the lowest because if you fry juice/coil it will still taste burnt when u turn it down ! For me 5.9 w or 3.4 v is the max !!!! Definitely a beast !!! Can't help with your aspire as I have never seen one ! Guessing replaceable heads ? I tend to change my protank heads weekly , usually can tell when need changing as tastes funky ! Hope you get delivery soon and have a good vape

I've used standard aspire tanks on the istick.
If it's BVC couls. Which I assume it will be. Leave it to stand for a while after filling. And I mean a while. Mine too a good few hours before it began ego give off any vapour or flavour at all. Before that it was just dry hits.
The BVC's really do need more power than the older BDC coils. On lower powers they just gurgle and spit and give zero vapour.
I've used a smaller aspire tank with a BVC at 15watts on the istick with zero burnt taste but you really do need to let the coil soak.
Just start small at say 7watts. Take a vape. If it's not tasting burnt. Go up a watt. Until you get the vape you're happy with.

Almost everything I vape is fruit based, my I stick is sat next to me now with a Silo Lite sat on top with Aspire BVC coil and filled with strawberry juice, nothing tastes burnt ??? Only time I've had dry hits or burnt taste is when I had a Kanger Mow on it with old heads, switched them for a unicoil and everything was fine.

I also have a silo lite on my I stick with a strawberry milkshake liquid I've had nearly 20ml through it on the same coil and the taste hasn't faltered one bit running it at 8w.i also use my mini nautilus on it again no problems. I believe the aspire k1 takes the same coils as the silo lite they are disposable. To be honest the silo lite with the Bvc is the best set up I have used yet

Thanks for all the tips. It was all easier than I thought. They seem to be working really well together. Been using Grizwalds Arctic Cherry and its fine.
Only problem is it seems to burn juice pretty quickly! But that might be my imagination as I can now see the juice. Will take me a few days to see how my overall consumption has increased.
Pleased with the istick as its a perfect size for me. Almost two days use and its still showing over half battery left.

Those Aspire BVC coils have really surprised me after using the crap BDC ones before. The wife uses them in a couple of steel Aspire CE5 tanks and they are great for flavour and give off a good amount of vapour for such a basic tank.

I wasn't mad keen on the silo lite to be honest (to the extent that I've just moved mine on), it's prettier than the mini nautilus true but I much prefer the ugly little brute for flavour and reliability. The old BDC coils weren't bad par se, I used them almost exclusively in a Davide for months in fact, but they were madly inconsistent on wicking, you got a good one and it would be great for a few weeks at a time, sadly all too often you only got one or two good ones per pack of five. The BVCs are a big improvement from that respect
