In all it took me more time to make that post then it did to re-wick the Russian. Less then 15 minutes in all from start/cleaning coil to finish wicked and ready to go.

I think it's like 4.5 to 5 ml of juice. You know though I've never really checked lol. I've had them for ages and it's never even came up. I know that it will last me a whole day on one fill up though and that's probably why I never checked. It does not have the output of a dual coil set up so it sips the juice rather then chugs it.
I have an Orchid V2 and it holds like 2.5 to 3ml. It has dual coils though and 4 juice channels and it might last me through a 8 hour work day and need filling just after. If I'm at home it's only about 2 to 3 hours of vaping though cause I have more time to vape at home. Just ordered the V4 Orchid though with 5ml juice capacity so I know it will last longer. Also ordered longer chimney section for it so I can put my Keyfun/Russian tank sections on my V2 version.

Thanks man, I have another go tomorrow with your guide. Think my cottons about a millimeter short of the deck. Yeah that would most definitely cause flooding into the deck. Do as I showed and it will work right every time. If there is flooding at the start from my build when filling or refilling just hold a rag to the air hole and blow it out and your good to go. So not in the juice wells but laying right on them.

ive got the orchid v4 coming from ft, ive tried dual coil but they seem to go wrong so stick with what i know lol Orchids can be finicky, but they work fairly well. Right now I have to put just a tad of the wick tail into the juice channel to keep it from flooding. You have to watch out though cause to much tail and it slows the juice flow down to much. Took me 3 builds my first time to learn the right amount. I don't know how to say what size 26 gauge is in MM, but 26 gauge 8 wraps on no more then a 2mm rod for max coil size. When you get it just ask me and I'll give some pictures on how I build it. Infinite made a version that raises the air flow holes off the deck. Also they made the coil post a little taller. Infinite Orchid
Now if someone would just make a 2 piece chimney like a kayfun or russian for the Orchid all would be grand. All issues with wicking could be resolved just by doing that.

Welcome Resnik it will be grate having your knowledge available, I do may Kayfuns pretty much the same with rayon but slight fatter coils and rewicking is so quick even with the skinny nickel wire for the DNA40. AWG mm 18 1.024 19 0.912 20 0.812 21 0.723 22 0.644 23 0.573 24 0.511 25 0.455 26 0.405 27 0.361 28 0.321 29 0.286 30 0.255 31 0.227 32 0.202 33 0.18 34 0.16 35 0.143 36 0.127 37 0.113 38 0.101 39 0.0897 40 0.0799 E: had the wire gauges in columns, didn't display well

Russian was my first rebuildable atomizer after a Nautilus. I have built it more times then I can count and if rushed less then 5 minutes rewicking. Got it down to a art. That's a fairly big coil for me on it. it's a 3mm (macro)and most times I do 2.5 or lower (micro) on my Russian. I was looking for a longer heat up time that kept warm for a longer period of time. It works well for me and has been my build for months now. Only changed the coil once in 3 months.
Hell it works for me, thanks for the break down. Now I have something I can go back to when I need to.
I have ran into this issue quite a few times, but was to lazy to take the time to look it up.

Thank you friend, done again today, bit longer cotton, blew down the chimney, a little gurgling at first but now vaping like a dream... my first Kayfun and rebuild-able tank now complete.

Just wait till its been in use for 6 months and you have to buy a rebuild kit and replace all the insulators on the positive post. I switch between a russian and Orchid at work. Sometimes ill carry a dripper but not often. That authentic Russian has been put through hell. Fallen in the mud, dropped from the top of a water tank to a cement floor, shorted out, stuck together so bad I needed a wrench and torch to get it apart, lost under the couch for a month and Still had enough life to take a puff off. They are well made the lot of them. Clones for the most part are no exception. They are built just as good if not better most times. I know the EHpro kayfun I have will never get traded or sold.
