Vaper's Tongue?

I've been abusing Grizwald's Atomic Fusion for a few weeks now, just cant get enough of that super rich, mouth wateringly good, blackjack taste 

It now seems that I cant actually taste it AT ALL it has been like this since Saturday, I can smell it a little bit but the flavour is all gone.

Im assuming I have vaper's tongue? how do i fix this, i have smelt some strong coffee beans and it seems to have helped a little bit, but do i need to change e-liquid flavours as well? i've read it can take up to 2 weeks to come back

Change to menthol or mint for a day or two and you will be fine

Right will do that, the Mrs only uses menthol so will blast that for a few days, thanks for the response.

The problem you have is that if you vape the same liquid constantly it will most likely happen again so just mix it up, I love custard and that was all I would vape until the dreaded vape tongue attacked and all i could taste was peeper so I now have a custard and a fruit with me all day - problem solved

Yeah I get that, im going to buy the banoffee cream soon.

I like the atomic fusion so much though it literally makes me salivate when i vape it lol guess i'll have to find a couple other flavours that i like so i can switch it up.

atomic fusion, root beer, turkish delight, banoffee cream and then a power minty one should be a nice variation

mindyabiznis I have at least 3 different flavours on the go all the time, one is always my homemademint and menthol, not had vapers tongue for ages.

If i ever over do it on the RA then a day on the menthol is normally more than enough to blow away the cobwebs

I used to get that quite a lot, and now use around 4 different flavours every day, switching over as the taste fades on one, and then relishing the next full flavour.
I find that a good homemade menthol works a treat too!

Right thanks for the info guys, i changed to Mega Mint from vapescape for a couple of days and i can now taste the blackjack flavour again in Atomic Fusion, not quite as strong as it was but i can actually taste it now which is nice

Think we've all had vapours tongue at some point, I'm a tobacco flavor addict, but I now vape three or four baccy flavors a day and the occasional fruit/dessert type juice, seems to keep the dreaded tongue at bay.

That sounds very strange ! I use for over a year and have never had a loss of taste. I change up the flavours quite often though.

Dead easy jevans - to make the homemade menthol flavouring take half a small tub of Menthol crystals available at most pharmacies, put in an empty 30ml bottle, top up with PG (or VG if you prefer), seal and give a good shake to dissolve the crystals. Alternatively pop in a cup of hot water to speed the process.
Here's my recipe with Coolmint - a nice smooth menthol, with a hint of sweetness too!

For "half a tub" to make sense, I need to know the size of the tub in the 1st place!
Is the tub size 5g?
