hi folks Bought a Nautilus mini and 2nd bvc coil in pack worked a treat. Bought 2 pack of bvc coils and all gurgle / leak!! They all appear to be the real thing. Checked that all connections tight and was vaping with a spinner v2 at 3.8v. Blow down tip and get covered in juice. Changed 6 coils and the same thing! To top it all just got a Protank 3. Filled it up and checked everything tight. Gurgled and spat and poured out of the battery connection. Opened it up all all seemed tight and correct. All in all I have been vaping neat juice through these for 3 weeks now - really don't want to revert to analogs!! Any advice / help appreciated Mark

What's the resistance of the coils you've bought? I suspect they're pretty high so first thing to try is upping the volts. Not too quickly but I think you may start making progress around 4.2 volts.

Hi markgs59 and You've come to the right place to get you back on track. What ohm coils did you get? 1.6 could be a bit low for 3.8v. Also, what were you using before the Nautilus? Are you sure you are filling correctly? Where abouts in the country are you? There's probably one of us fairly close by that would be happy to meet up and help work out what the problem is...

Also check that you have not lost any "O" rings or seals from in the tank.

+1 to what's been said, also don't blow down the tip, it will only force juice out of the air hole. Try holding it upside down and blowing through the air hole to get rid of excess juice.

Thank you all All seals and O rings in place. Will try blowing upside down????. Clean all areas with cotton buds etc to make sure no fluid is where it shouldn't be. Still sucking juice! Vendor suggests that I am doing something wrong but being a biomechanical engineer I think that I know the difference between a loose and tight seal but may be a ' green fingers' thing. Spent a fortune trying to get of analogs and when one 1.6 coil worked in Nautilus mini worked was a happy bunny. Tried from 3.3 to 4.8v and all got worse. Live in Bromley and don't know where to go from here????. Spent a bloody fortune to drink ejuice instead of 30 Marlboro.

Aww, shame, 18 months ago I was in Crystal Palace for 50% of the time... but then again, I was on cig-a-likes, so wouldn't have been any help. We have a few members that are out that way I think... I know Mrsmac is in Croyden, not sure if she has some free time to help? Anyone else? Might be worth, if you can make it, coming to the London and South East vape meet on the 16th December? I know it won't help you now, but you'll be able to meet a lovely bunch of vapers to help you out.

Hi Mark, I don't have experience with the nautilus but am ok with the protanks. Have you managed to get it working again? Firstly where did you buy the tank and the coils?

Don't think this will help much but if I'm having problems with a tank I take it all to bits, wash all the bits, including the coil, check all the seals, o rings etc, dry everything off, put it all back together, slowly, without swearing (not always easy) and only put a little juice in the tank before putting the coil and base back. Dry all the outside (where I missed with the liquid bottle) and then try it on a battery. Sometimes, when I've done this, ive spotted something ive missed before putting it back together. But you've probably tried all this.
Best suggestion.....take your kit to a shop, there must be a few around in your neck of the woods, and ask them to check it? You could also maybe try one of their tanks?
It's sad for you but don't give up. It will work and will be really worthwhile. Might also be worth getting a protank2, they have a single coil and are really easy to recoil and rewick, plenty really good guides on here, and if I can do it, anyone can. Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Any idea where? allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/46874/16th-london-south-east-decemberCheck out the thread... sure you will be sorted by then, but if you're free, definitely worth a visit... the last one was my first, and was such a good laugh I will be attending as many of them as I can in future... don't worry about any inexperience, it's a great way to learn whilst having a few bevvies... if only school was as much fun!

Forgot to add on to of what had been said already, when screwing in the coils to the base,do not over tighten then, they need to be finger tight but not over tight to squash the o rings which may lead to floods

Thanks Jane for the video - great for gurgling but my main problem apart from gurgling & spitting is leaking - I can loose half a tank of juice in minutes unfortunately. Got both Nautilus, Protank and replacement coils from Vapeland - the guy there is very efficient, helpful and well priced but he has just suggested that I send them back. I must be doing something wrong or am incredibly unlucky!!

Just found a possible cause for my leaking - does this negative pressure thing make sense? Followed this and no more leaking on the Nautilus - just the odd spit when firing the Spinner up
