18650 sized ZNA50 :) Focalecig £48 ish

This has amazed me, this mod actually can go down to 1 Volt. This is the trace for a 0.24 ohm coil at 5 Watts (minimum on this mod)

This is what it should be. It may well be closer than it looks, this isn`t a sophisticated scope.


So this appears to be a buck/boost mod. This isn`t your usual ZNA/DNA that outputs battery voltage as it`s minimum.
For this money, it`s a steal

 The Clouper ZNA50 isnt a patch on this mod.

That does look good robby, not seen one with a slightly slow ramp up, but it looks like only a tenth of a second so no problem and I assume it's not the same angle at higher settings. That is massively better output than an IPV2!

Compare to an IPV2 at it's lowest setting with a 2 ohm load, the blue line is where the voltage should be.

I was really impressed with a .2 ohm coil, that has been the major difficulty with sub ohming on these DNA/ZNA devices, this is fantastic, I can vape happily at about 15 watts which I like at a sensible voltage

Yes the ramp up is a bit slow, but barely noticeable really
I`ve done pics from 5 to 50 watts with that coil which I`ll put in a review in a bit

Better that than the 1 V spike from the IPV, that really pi55ed me off I tried to pulse a geni coil at low watts like I would on a DNA and instant pop it just burnt through one the legs.  I had done a few on the DNA40, but just wanted to vape it and you really need to keep letting it get completely cool to show the temp limiting.

Seriously though, it's really good for you to test it and will post the review as the biggest drawback with these DNA clones is the variability of the electronics and firmware so you have to take pot luck on if you get a decent device.

The specs are so wildly out on a lot of these devices, the main attraction with this one was the long body. The 5W minimum was a bonus and seemed to point to something different by way of the board. Most have been 7W minimum. I love the way this seems to perform on sub ohm coils

robby aside from the technical stuff it gos over my head I'm honest. How tall is the unit ? Focal seems to have it down as two different measurements. 13.2cm and 10.7cm. Thats about an inch and inches are important, apparently.
