I've been vaping long enough IMO to know the answer to this but I don't! Lol. Does the low nicotine option give a weaker taste to the juice or is it unaffected? Thank you for any answers.

im not 100% sure but its possible that the nic level will effect your mouth/taste buds so this may give the impression of the juice tasting weaker but the actual taste shouldn't be effected

Great topic Well, I have always read the flavour is weaker with low nic strength, however, because my heartburn was so bad I decided to half my nic strength, bought PG and VG and diluted my RY4, RY Hi5 and blackcurrant to see if it would help, the Blackcurrant was 24mg so that was halved and the others were 18mg and so I topped that by a third, all is well and I am not noticing a huge different in taste. So I will be keeping it like this for a bit as the heartburn is now hardly there at all.

I get a bit of heartburn too Sandra, maybe that's why. I want to cut down to low strength. For a while, I'll have to dilute what I've got, so I suppose that might make the taste a little bit weaker. Once I've used up most of my supplies, I'll order the low nic. Thanks for the replies. Maybe one of the sellers in here knows the definite answer?

Be interesting Anne if your heartburn gets better with less nic as well, coz I am just wondering if I am getting to sensitive in my old age :-)
Just to add, my heartburn was noticably better by the next day. Just a touch now and again.

I don't vape menthol. Never liked menthol cigarettes either. It's an acquired taste I suppose!

There should be the same amount of flavouring in all the nic levels. But not sure how much the nicotine content adds to the flavour.

The answer is NO!
The flavour of a juice is not affected by the strength of the Nic.

The answer is NO! The flavour of a juice is not affected by the strength of the Nic. I agree with Griz and he should know.

I've vaped from 24mg right down to 0mg (not that that makes me an expert), sometimes with the same juices at differing mg ratings and I'll side with Griz in saying no, it doesn't affect the flavour, in my experience.
However, I've found sometimes vendors have slightly different tasting liquids for different nicotine concentrations which I guess is just due to when it was made or it was a different batch. Usually it's pretty much exactly the same flavours though. I used to use 18mg caramel from one vendor, and I tried their 8mg and 0mg. The 8mg was the same as the 18 but the 0mg one was so much sweeter I wondered if they forgot to dilute it properly or something or tried to compensate for the lack of nicotine in some way. Strange but true, the 0mgs I've tried have sometimes been strange compared to ones with nicotine.
On the face of it though, if the base flavouring is the same then the flavour will be the same when you add the nicotine; as you're diluting with hopefully the same ml of different concentrations of nicotine in pg/vg/peg etc. I don't really notice any flavour related to nicotine, just the throat hit of it.
