I have a shiney new Hudl2 sitting in it's wrapping, been to busy to open it but looking forward, it's replacing my cheap but useful Acer tablet that cost me £100 over a year ago.

I ordered a Hudl2 in Bubblegum Pink yesterday - it didn't cost me anything as I had £65 in Tesco clubcard vouchers saved up for Xmas so using the boost the tablet was Free with Free delivery however its not for me my son wanted one for his wife as her Xmas pressie so I offered to buy it for him using my vouchers and he can pay me the £65 to replace the vouchers which I would be using to buy the Xmas Turkey & Gammon, win win all round he gets the tablet 1/2 price and I still have my Xmas savings.

Mine's gone back to tesco. Was taking ages to charge and they are really hungry beasts. The problem with them is the current Android is not power optimized for the Intel Atom processors. The next Android will have these optimization features (5.0 Lollipop), but Tesco won't say when, or even if it's going to be available for the hudl2. A similar situation to the original hudl Makes perfect marketing sense tho, means more peeps will upgrade to the hudl3. Another by-product of our 'throw away' society, should be on the naughty step with ipads and CE4 atomizers.
