Can someone point me in the right direction please? I am looking to order some coils from Fasttech for Protank 3, Aerotank etc and am confused as to which ones to order. They need to be with visible wick so I can rebuild them as a hedge against future changes. I would like to buy in 10's Any advice would be appreciated

Are you after micro coil or the looser wrapped?

I will be rebuilding as single coil but all the coils I have had have been the dual coil ones and I know the grommets are a different size

goneforagasper with the protank 3 heads all you need to do is microcoil in the usual way and wick it, then lay a rolled piece of wick across the top of the coil so that when the chimney and its grommet go back on the channels that the wick pokes out of are full. You can also use a protank 1 or 2 head in the normal way and sit a second chimney grommet from another of the pt1 or 2 heads on top.of the first. Hope this helps!

I can't say which to buy but I may be able to steer you away from what not to buy. I bought THESE out of curiosity just to see if they're as good as my own. The four I've tried have all come in sub ohm. Jay
