Do all vamos have a brass 510 connector or do some have a stainless one? Now you're being picky! Lol Just read a few complaints online tonight about the brass threads stripping.

Lol Just read a few complaints online tonight about the brass threads stripping. They do, but not that quickly and for around £10-£15 you can't really complain if you only get 6 months out of one

Just a thought (do get them occasionally) what about household and vehicle insurance? mzalNot worth claiming on van insurance due to excess and the inevitable increase in premiums next year due to a claim. Checked house insurance and things are not covered outside of the house which is annoying as i was sure I had gone for that type of cover.

If you want something a little longer lasting, my vote would be the Zmax. FT's version 3 with "improved" removable topcap is the one to go for.

I agree with @spikeyfridge & would go with a Vamo V2 - up until recently, I was using one every day & all day for over a year & it still works. Only reason I've stopped using it is due to the most wonderful gift form the forum members for our 5th anniversary - a Provari Ti

mzal the v5 stainless steel vamos are a good buy on ft now, around £15. The threads feel a bit harder than the brass ones and anyhow, with a couple of these handy:- www.stealthvape.co.uk/e-cigarette-accessories/EGO-EGO-ADAPTERit won't matter if the 510 does strip. I use a couple on v2's (with the protank flared plinth) and they do the biz.. My advice - ss v5 vamo and istick from FT, plus a couple of those adapters... sorted for £40ish total p.s. @spikeyfridge did you see the link for these I tagged you with t'other night?? Or did I tag someone else and you just happened to be in the thread at the time

I was looking at vamos on fasttech which version is best to go for? Is there anything at a decent price the same sort of size as the provari that takes 18650s or are all the cheaper mods bigger like the vamo. TZMAX TZMAX TZMAX TZMAX TZMAX TZMAX Less than £25 all SS threads on connector and body, totally flat cap, use any 18 series battery VV & VW Oled screen What's not to like? www.fasttech.com/p/1531203
