now for that price I was tempted, but luckily enough they'd sold out before I got there

I ought to explain... we are not JUST being Bah Humbug, it's just that Xmas is a very busy time, we end up working through til about 8 or 9pm
Our first year down here we had my sister and BIL over for the day and it was a nightmare trying to be sociable AND work, that's when we said "Never again", we can now go and buy birthday presents in the January sales and relax a little

See, in my world, if I was your family, we would turn up at your house, do all the cooking while you worked then clean up so you could enjoy a bit of Christmas Spirit. That or pitch in with work so we could all relax a little together.

Let's face it. There are only two options here.

1. Buy an iStick now.

2. Delay buying an iStick and upset the 'inherent natural progression' of shinyitus, which tends to lead to extreme psychological damage.
