Yo! Introductions are always the best way to start, so here is mine.

I've been a vaper for close to a year now but I've been on another forum. I figured it was about time to join up on a UK ecig board and hey, why not Chrissie's, they're always one up on me on ecig news from the UK Maybe now I'll know more about what's going on in the ecig scene in the UK if I hang out here as well. If I'm going to be a walking ecig wikipedia I might as well get the latest info haha

I'm 24, but not in mind, I live and work in Scotland and I have a little collection of ecigs by now as you can probably guess: 510, kr808, ego (+ ego booster), 3.7v box mod and now the lavatube! Lavatuuuube and I hope I'll get my grubby hands on an SD keyring soon too.

My main setup has to be a CE2 on the lavatube but I'm more partial to using a Kr808D-1 when I'm in public because I don't really want to look like I'm smoking a pipe or... bomb or somesort.

I hope I can help out with advice for people who want to vape or would like to know more about vaping but I'm not exactly the encyclopedia of all things vaping related quite yet (as much as I'd like to think I am ). Maybe someday, and anyone I can help out along the way will be a bonus!

I'm really looking forward to getting to know other vapers in the UK for sure, and before this post looks more like an essay I'll stop here I guess

Yeah, I've seen a few faces I recognise but have never actually spoken to on ECF that are here too. Thanks for the compliment, it's stuff like that that makes it worth it, besides actually helping someone make the switch of course!

I really owe the older members for everything I've learned so far though and for what I'm still learning about ecigs today.

Last but not least, thanks to yourself for a great new resource and for all the links I've totally grabbed off you over this year to pass on to UK based newbies on ECF

Lol, I also mainly hang out on ECF to look out for new UK members. Far too often they just get inundated with links to US suppliers.

BTW, we also have a great social side to this forum in the community section & folks meeting up etc. I know we have several members in Scotland.

I know what you mean. They ask where to get things in the UK and they get 20 replies with links to US vendors until someone from the UK notices or checks their location. It makes me laugh sometimes but it's always good to have the supplier list linked here bookmarked for just such an occasion

It's one of the reasons I thought we only had two ecig suppliers in the UK for a good few months lol!

I know what you mean. I was just saying last night that I was trying to find the DIY section there and it took me five minutes because it's a subforum in a nearly related subform. Then I needed to link to the UK PIF thread and it also wasn't where I thought it would be haha

I mainly stick to the newbie section and genereal ecig subforums though as that's where most people hang out and it's something to do.

You used a RN4081! I really want to try one out just for the vintage of those units and sample a piece of ecig history. They have a pretty dim view on small ecigs these days but there's a guy here who's wanting rid of his so might be adding one to my collection soon

I would consider the social aspect if I wasn't a crazy nightshift worker that can't drive yet and lives in the middle of nowhere. Maybe when I can get around by my own means I'll consider it but it's cool to know all the same.
