Ah...my stepdaughter was living in Inverness for awhile last year, we went up to visit her a couple of times, stayed in the Royal Highland, i believe...

the last visit, just before christmas '10 was horrendous, the car skated on the ice the last half of the journey

Icy sounds about right We had a week where everything was covered with a sheet of ice. Paths, car parks, cars, buildings... pretty much everything. It's been so wet instead of snowy it's pure ice when it's cold.

Just sent an american friend back home today and they finally got why we have so many expressions for the weather, like 10+ words for what the rain is like etc because we can get all four seasons here in one day sometimes. Funny to bring an Oklahoma born american into the 166mph winds and pure ice we were having when they got here

Thanks. I finally got a tripod so I'm hoping to take better exposures soon.

It's me and a bunch of brave tourists out here so yeah, no surprise. Although, I once found a 510 cartridge top in the car park so there is one here somewhere! I'd recognise a bit of ecig kit a mile away I just have to find them first.

I know right? It's like waiting on someone trying the most delicious chocolate bar ever and you know they're going to love it but they're taking so long to get back to you lol

Hi Leftfield extending a warm welcome to you mate... i dig around the ECF forum too just trying to keep up to date with what else is going on in the further reaching world of vaping... AAE-C is defo the place for all things UK not to mention our friendly social nature which is second to none

i hear mention of the strange ones... you can pick them out by the N in their banners

My youngest niece visited the UK a few years ago. She liked it there, including Scotland, she even liked haggis. lol. It must have been because our great-great-etc. grandfather came from Aberdeen.
