tubes vs boxes

thought it would be interesting, i love box mods so they are all i use now, for me tube mods just dont feel nice anymore.

Been heavy mech guy for a long while.

Was shifting toward the boxies in the last 6 months, with hana clones, ipv2 and vtr.

Now p3 is weapon of choice with a bit of ipv2 time and mechs for dripping.

I'd guess 80/20 tube to box ratio

Prefer the form of box mods when I'm out and about but still use my Svd when I'm in the house now and again just for a change of pace and when I want to pretend I'm Luke Skywalker

In a nutshell (from a mod destroying perspective)

Tubes mod roll....that means when they fall out of the MD handbag they roll down the gutter (they don't stay on the pavement)

and most of them weigh less than 1lb in weight so naturally fall out of the aforesaid bag with ease

the vtr weighs 1lb in weight and is a box mod. Less likely to fall out of bag and when it does it doesn't roll.

I call that a +1 for box mods

In 2 + years I have acquired 10 tube mods 8 being mechanical,along with 5 box mods, plus 20+ atty`s & 6 drippers.

But my go to mod now is the istick for out and about.

Who would have thought I`d get so many along with all the mixing gear and bottles of bought juices.

It`s my "healthy" hobby.

Had to vote other... I have both and most of the time use both equally... although it's only recently that I've been using the boxes so much since the iSticks... assuming you class the iSticks as box mods

just my perspective,

feels more like a tube than a box mod in the hand due to size and shape.

its my opinion and I'm keeping it Tease-smiley

I vote for tubes,have MVP,but not use it because don't like how feel the box shape
