I do, turn the temp to 600 or off, I don't let it glow orange and I put it under the cold tap a microsecond after releasing the fire button. Don't need a rewick just yet, but just to know for when I do. Cheers VapingBad, you've been very patient with me and very helpful mate. No worries, actually with temp sensing try rinsing under the tap before removing the wick and if the wick and coil come up quite clean you can boil off the water without scorching the wick and are good to go.

Yes it is a bit thick but there's loads of room in the lemo. I got it more for trying a smaller diameter coil in the rose as i didnt fancy trying to get the thinner stuff in those bloody holes.

Do any of you find that different juices affect when TC kicks in?
I had to change my build tonight and tried spacing the coils, but didn't have any joy with it. I've now another microcoil and it seems to be ok, but TC is kicking in earlier than before.

It only does that to me when the connection has loosened, bl00dy Origenny clone does it a lot, you could try cleaning the 510 both sides and tightening the coil connections.

That's seems to have done the trick VapingBad, TC is now behaving and I'm in vaping heaven again!! So from now on if that happens I just give the screws a tighten, right?

Getting on very well with the Subtank in clearo mode, restrung with 0.3 nickel and wicked with rayon. Trapping the leads in the base as you do, wonder if that helps to keep it stabler than screwed connections? It certainly seems less prone to the ohmage creeping upwards as my Kayfun builds do. They're pretty easy to recoil too. The only fiddly bit is lining up the coil with the holes till you can put a drill bit through and hold it in place, while you fix the leads in place at the bottom.

I've now another microcoil and it seems to be ok, but TC is kicking in earlier than before. I'm thinking more the juices flow at the moment, keeping the coil cool and it obviously needs juice to vaporise , tested the air flow on a kraken the other day, basically a single coil running at 15watts 410f and Cotton wick just sitting in the juice,so no juice channels/vacuum at play...anyway set up for a tight draw temp control was keeping it all around 10watts. Opened up the air flow to full, temp control still around 10 watts. Kayfuns......there a still a a mystery to me, can't get one (off my 2 clones) to run at 12watts through the whole tank without temp control cutting in, which is a good thing, the device is doing its job. Done enough now I would of lucked out once...! but temp control seems to be cutting in more often the lower the level of juice, ie less head, vacuum and thus flow rate of the juice. Al guess work as i can't actually measure but the DNA40 is indicating with temp control a little of what's going on. Had a Kayfun on a mech today with the odd shitty hit when I chained it, clever design/chip the DNA40 is and something I didn't give enough credit at the beginning, it's doing its job so if it's cutting in too early it's you/me or the atty. I'm blaming the atty in my case...!
