The Buds should last about a week before needing replacing, they do "age" and the vape changes the longer you use them, sometimes they clog a bit especially with some sweet ejuices. I went away form the Buds cos I found they leaked on me and they were hard to clean if the pull started getting light or "airy" (not much vapor).

They are hard to clean the coil part (although I think Collie has taken one to bits), same with most cartomizer based systems. The easiest ones to clean were the CE2's. I used to dry burn the coil on those until they were like new again. Shame they cracked and leaked so much.

Never had a Bud leak though. Well, once because I didn't put the little plug back in after filling.

I must say, I have had no trouble with leaking either to be honest, the only reason I keep getting new ones is that some of the flavours are so strong that I can't get rid of the taste\smell. I just need to get the balance right, a nice juice and make sure I am using the battery right. I wonder if there is a vendor that does custom juices lol. Steve, what juice you vape and how do you find the flavour?

MrsM, what do you mean by custom juice? Some of the vendors that either mix their own like Paradise Vape's or Vape Escape Grizwald juices, can tweak their juices to suit you.

Yes I mean one where I can ask for it to taste a little like this or that. Ok like menthol tobacco is like what I would call roll ups tobacco with menthol. I would love to find a cigarette like tobacco for instance b&h or silk cut with not so much a mind blowing menthol but a boiled mint sweety type menthol so it is a little sweeter. That probably made no sense!

At the moment I vape mostly menthol flavours. I add it to allsorts of other flavours.

One i really like is Sour Apple (from James at paradisevapes) mixed with menthol. Very refreshing. My other favorite is RY4.


I do find some flavours become hard to taste after vaping them for a period of time. when that happens i just change to something different for a few days.

MrsM, what tastes good for one won't necessarily taste good for someone else. The best way (unless you are going to get into mixing) is to use the pick n mix options most suppliers do where you get a selection of 5 or 10 bottles of 3 or 5mls of various juices and just try them out to see which you like. If you end up with a load you really can't abide you can always put them on the swaps board.

Ive taken a bud to pieces but unable to satisfactorily put it back again there is a piece of with about 5mm long that feeds from the tank part to the atomizer with a little more wick.This will often pop out and way too fiddly to pop back in but is usable without it for a short while.
I do like taking things apart (that's the man in me eh!)
Best to use it and top it up when it gets low, wife has had one for weeks on her ego battery mind you she's a lightweight,

Lol RY4 was interesting, I couldn't stomach the smell from the bottle, may try it again in a few days. I may put all the tanks that I didn't like the juice in a big bucket and see what happends and leave them to dry if all else fails, I ve got more on the way!
