Clouper mini presale, Gearbest £23

Aye, but at least when FT say the presale ends the item ships within days, the Kayfun v4 was supposed to ship before Christmas on the Gearbest site, my niggle with them is they still do not have 1 Kayfun v4 a week after the presale ended!

The Clouper was cancelled by me solely due to I have no confidence in them at all.

Can anyone point me in the right direction where I will find a suitable battery charger for this and a good battery ?

I would go for a Sony VTC4 or Samsung 25R battery and a Xtar or Nitcore charger. Apollo have an offer ATM, or Torchy or myEpack, ther links in the Apollo thread to these.

Agree with what you are saying, I've not got a huge amount of confidence that these will be shipped anywhere near the projected date. I'm just forgetting about it until near the paypal deadline.
 However, FT have been involved in some famous "restocking" debacles in their time. They are though a reputable firm. If you can say that about a site selling knock offs.

How did you cancel, I want to, raised a ticket and they said they something about they can't there other company have the money, looked at my pay pal and they have some sort of hold on it (payment unauthorised) can't seem to stop that and have no control. 

Personally i want to order from FT and would advise others to to the same. Have done a pre order with FT and decided I wanted something else so canceled it got a gift certificate and purchased something else, easy. If it was in stock and had been posted I would of just had it, fair enough.

I opened a ticket with them separately for each item requesting them to cancel the Clouper ( which was still only authorised) I also asked PP not to process the payment.
for the Kayfun I advised them I was opening a dispute with PP, and requested them to refund the payment, once done so I would cancel the dispute.
In fairness to them, they cancelled the Clouper as requested, and claim to be refunding the payment for the Kayfun shortly, if they do not I'll raise it to a claim.


They admitted in the email I recieved that they have no Kayfuns, and that they should have been dispatched days ago, they also have no idea when they will be receiving any, which was not good enough for me.

Although we takes actions to this and have submitted a large order with the manufacturer, they have been unable to supply the goods on time leading to a delay of you order. Yea don't think nothing untoward with this lot, just like (maybe more use to) fastech and thier website. Take my money but if I want to cancel before they get stock they refund, easy. This holding (money in no mans land) I don't like.
