The story - briefly.

First AAE-C Radio broadcast was on a demo server. Since then, until this week, I've been paying for a full shoutcast server. Last weekend I was asking myself if I could do it myself. I already had a dedicated server, and the licence for 10 streams direct from CentovaCast is only $9.99 monthly.

The position I'm in now is:
I have a full 10 stream CentovaCast Server built onto my dedicated server. We only use one stream so that's 9 I can sell on to make some money.
For AAE-C radio there are no limits. Unlimited listeners, unlimited storage for the AutoDJ, plus the ability to stream at up to 320kbps (where shoutcast servers generally are only 128kbps).
Reliability. This server has never broken down in the 3 years I've been running it, although in the last week I've induced some downtime to get everything installed and configured.

I've been listening to peeps too. Some were struggling to see the current track on the dark background, so that's been changed, although none of the settings are permanent just yet.

It may take a few refreshes to get to it Q. That's the message for a new server, defunct as of 1.30am

It's just the old carp flushing from the dns. When you get to something current it'll all work. Shame I can't just flush it from the system.

It'll happen at any time. It's the same old front page with the playlist and that, just the fonts and colours have been tweaked.

The one thing that does concern me is the extra bandwidth requirement. At the moment (23/12) I'm at 224 kbps and everyone is happy
