Safest option if you do not have any Sub-Ohm capable kit already (and it can be a minefield) is to get the Aspire CF Sub Ohm battery that they sell to go with the Atlantis. You can get it here : www.vaperama.com/products/aspire-cf-sub there is a 12% discount code in the Vendors section. The CF Sub Ohm is rated at 40 A output and will fire down to 0.3 ohms. YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING WITH SUB OHM VAPING, IT CAN BE DANGEROUS!

the problem with sub ohm coils is that they use a lot of power at .5 ohms your using 4x,s the power you would at 2 ohm so the batt that you use has to be able to do this or it will go bang dependent on your budget the cheapest option is the cf sub ohm then a vamo 35 watter from fasttech but you will need suitable batts(sony vt4 are my fave)and a charger
using the wrong batts sub ohm is like holding on to a pipe bomb not knowing when its going to go off ,just so you know ;p

Have you got to buy a battery for the aspire sub ? And a charger and would any vamos work with a atlantis Hi DiscoDes has linked you to the mod that has a battery pre-installed and sealed, aspire do sell another mod that requires the user to place a suitable 18650 battery into it i wont link this as the one that DiscoDes has linked would be the correct one for someone just starting out into the sub-ohming venture, but it does not come with a charger, for further info watch this video from Pbursado before you buy. This kind of vaping needs the user to be understanding of battery safety etc, cheers Carl WATCH FROM 22:50MINS

Have you got to buy a battery for the aspire sub ? And a charger and would any vamos work with a atlantis No the CF Sub Ohm has the proper rated battery already installed (non-removable) you use a Ego Charger to charge it. I don't know if one of the latest Vamo's will fire down too 0.5 ohms but you'd need the proper rated battery(s) and charger. Please don't take this the wrong way but if you're asking this type of question maybe the Atlantis is not for you. This is the text from a well respected vendors site relating to the Atlantis : *****IMPORTANT NOTICE***** Aspire Atlantis is designed for Sub-Ohm vaping and CAN NOT be used on standard ego type batteries. You must ensure that your device is able to cope with the demand of power required to run this. We recommend min of 35a battery. Or a Variable wattage ( 20w ) min or please see related products below for Batteries designed by Aspire for this device ASPIRE ATLANTIS IS FOR ADVANCED USERS ONLY

Dan to be honest try something a little easier and safer for you at this point maybe a nautilus\mini with a cheap vamo or sigelei zmax this will be a perfectly good setup to keep you going whilst you look into things like battery safety and ohms law whilst getting you into rebuilding heads if you choose and having a charger and 18650's for when your ready to go further if you feel the need. Whilst the release of the Atlantis and kanger sub tank is good in some ways it's bad in as much as a lot of people are buying these without the underlying knowledge to be safe doing it. Please don't think I'm having a go or meaning to be patronising as that isn't the intent I like everyone else here want you to be safe whilst you progress and that's one of the best things about this forum I'm finding that rather then push people to do things faster the emphasis is on vaping safely its a nice change of pace.
