Could be worse. My mate at work was whining earlier at how he was gonna have to spend Xmas with his fiancees family, a far drive away. I get to stay here at home, getting caned out of my cake with the cat at home. Choices eh?

Thoughts and prayers with folk on their own (see my blog post)

Me? Happy wee bunny ...am off to Kirk for at least the first time in about 15 years on Christmas Day (if not longer!!!) then the salvation army for good nosh up.

Don't know about rural areas but know in towns/cities lots of Churches do free Christmas lunches for those on their own at Christmas. Well worth enquiring about if you're on your own. And some even pick you up from your home. . I prefer this to Christmas with my family. . I can see my folks at New Year

Yes my family got together yesterday because some had other plans for Christmas day. My brother and his girlfriend had a baby in July so they're having their own family Christmas.

So yes I'm on my own today but that doesn't mean I won't be enjoying myself. I have presents to open later and I I'll be having chicken, sprouts and all the trimmings for my dinner and relaxing in my onesie in front of the TV for most of the day with a bottle in my hand (both alcohol and red astaire) lol.

Regardless of what you're all doing today, have a good day and Happy Christmas to you all

I'm enjoying a solo day with my little dog Ellie. Off for a walk in a bit to clear head from last night's indulgence. Then back on the sparkles for lunch of smoked salmon blinks, yum. So nice to eat, drink and do as you like!

That is incredibly good thatguy. Never thought anyone could out-Floyd Floyd, but they did it. Roger Waters still does it for me, when he sings you really think he means it..
