Would an order of £100 attract customs interest? $88 In total all small items actual order is... Another Istick 5 boxes of heads and a filter for camera... Hope customs don't nab it... Never gave it a thought. Now worried. Don't worry about it M8, from the posts above general concensus seems to be there's no need to give it a thought. I've personally never placed an order with them for more than say $40, so it was a genuine question as when i've had stuff from States it was pot luck as to wether or not you'd be charged, i was lucky & never got charged. ETA It's a good tip though to split orders into 'in stock' & 'ships in xxx days' so you at least get prompt dispatch on part of your order.

Items from the U.S. are usually marked with the actual price so if they're inspected you'll get the charge.stuff from fasttech in my experience always has a value low enough on the package to not require customs charge regardless of the actual value of the contents inside the package

For some reason, British customs love stinging anyone who purchases from the US. No idea why they seem to be so much hotter on US purchases over China ???

I order 100ml bottle of ready made juice from the states every month, cost around $60 sometimes twice a month. The vendor is happy to put under $15 on package, providing I leave a note in comments box... The down side to this is if package is lost it’s my loss. I have on occasions forgotten to add note, and at all times customs have clobbered me.

Just a thought but is it a good idea to discuss how we managed to avoid customs charges on a public forum?

Well, imagine someone interested in vaping who also happens to work for HMRC reading about how stuff from China/HK hardly ever gets opened. Just maybe they may decide to change that policy.

Well, imagine someone interested in vaping who also happens to work for HMRC reading about how stuff from China/HK hardly ever gets opened. Just maybe they may decide to change that policy. They don't have the time or the staff to check everything, I'd imagine they have their hands full just picking out the stuff that is easily identified as requiring duty paid. they probably already know but the task is too big as they'd have to open every package to confirm cost and if it happens most would just order lots more packages that wouldn't attract duty. if they did get on top of it I'd expect the Chinese would then sort including invoices in the parcels that aligned with the lower outer marked price, the customer could still receive the pukka invoice via email. i do hope I'm not giving them a heads up

Kind of like they seem to jump on everything from the states nowadays. Not long ago I could order from the US and there was every chance it would get through, now they seem very keen I wonder what changed.
