I'm away for the weekend shortly and wondered does anyone know of any issues with batteries in hand luggage?
I've checked Jet2 website and can't see any issue, just don't want to get caught out
Has anyone else been stopped at customs, had any problems or got any tips?
Cheers Dave

If your flying from Manchester they will ask you to open your hand luggage at security. I don't think they have a grasp of ecigs, batteries, wires and metal tubes cause concern. Once they see ecigs they send you on your way

I only have usb chargable mods with me - no issue from Manchester - I think you just need to make sure that they are fully charged - if you have only handluggage - make sure the liquids are in bottles without the 'poison' label

Only problem in last 6 years of vaping and regular flyer was security at Heathrow, asked to remove MVP from coat then questioned about its battery life and performance !!

I've just arrived back from the US via Paris, so three security checks both ways. I had the batteries and juice in ziplock bags in my hand luggage and they hardly even glanced at them. They were more put out that the scanner showed that my razor had a metal bit inside the moulded plastic handle.

I'll think you'll find, and check forums as 100's of posts that vaping equipment is mainstream and recognised by security all over mainland europe and USA. Last trip I took hand luggage had camera with 3 batteries, Tomtom satnav, Tablet comp plus charge pack, 1 MVP, 1 Itasze VV and one Vamo, plus batteries and charging packs, must have looked like the perfect mad bomber lol.
