@johanino The pub does not have a kitchen as such. They do a few cold platters such as meats and cheese. You could get something to eat around St. Andrews Square before you get the local bus though.

There's a couple of places nearby like McDonalds and a couple of small cafes. Also in St.James Centre which is off the other end of the bus station.

I'll get a sandwich from somewhere near St Andrews. Sorted....and a good vape before I get on the bus

If I do go I'll be passing Perth, could maybe hook up and run you from there? Still not sure yet but just figured I'd throw the option out there as an alternative.


Besides it might be handy to have someone else to restart my phone when the satnav crashes lol

Ill be getting a taxi from Waverly. Nearer the time we could sort out train times and share a taxi if you want

Sounds like a plan. Only issue is I'll not be in Edinburgh until about 1pm. Coming off nightshift, I'll need some shut eye, so was thinking 12 20pm train from Shotts which will get me to Waverley about 1 ish.

1pm is ok with me. I can get the 12:03 train from Stirling which will get me to Waverley about 1

Just had a quick check, depart Shotts at 12 32 arrive Waverley at 13 11 so all good gordy180. Will pm you nearer the time and arrange to meet up at or around Waverley.

And yes to Broxden, easy one to get to for me and then it's straight on to the dualer from there.
