ive just left my ce2 soaking in vodka for the last hour or so...just the top coil bit in a condom.
is that right or does it have to be medical alcohol or something?
what do i do next...was told to just blow out and dry burn for 3-4 seconds?

Voddy is as good as you can get - I don't know where you's get medical alcohol retail.
Whatever you do, don't use meths - it's got nasty tasting stuff in it.
Alternately, use isopropanol which is what electronics folk use for cleaning parts.
You can get it at Maplins.
I've also seen a going over with an artists flat paint brush recommended.
In any case, blow it dry and then give a dry burn.

its 80 proof dunno if that makes differnce...anyway do i need to leave to dry/evapourate for 24hrs?
its seem to have all evapourated already anyway

I don't know where you's get medical alcohol retail. Rubbing alcohol? It's what they put on your skin before an injection among many other uses. Great for cleaning all sorts of things, you can buy it on eBay. You can get it at Maplins Hi de Hi  ........  |

hehe thx for the advice dom...i dried burned em...but alot more than previous times and they came up really clean. last time i was to scared of burning them.

isopropanol or rubbing alcohol 99.9% can be bought from good chemists £5 for 500ml but i found with CE2s a dry burn and a brush does the trick but keep the brush away from the wick as it can damage it
