In light of what happend Saturday, and that we are a good close group that share suggestions, i'd like to see a few more opinions about the cloud chasers issue, thanks to the 4 or 5 that have contributed, we are on average about 30 people, so come on say what you think, i'm sure there will be no flaming or trolling about opinion (and as a meeting group it can be discussed face to face). Just to help out our lovely organisers, I think this subject should have opinions.

The thing with clown chasers is that; that is what they love. What's the point of attending a meeting if you can't show off your enormous clowns?

You might be keen on a healthier lifestyle, juice that has more throat hit or flavour, variable voltage or beautifully engineered devices... but for a lot of people it's all about the clowns...

OK, I wasn't there on Saturday and I wasn't there for the other incident that OneDay mentioned.

There are more and more of us that are experimenting with higher power and lower resistances. A sometimes unintentional side effect is an increase in vapour. Where do we draw the line? What is and is not a cloud that's too big or offensive?

My opinion, FWIW, is that we should state on the thread/FB Group that ALL vapers are expected to act with consideration for both fellow meet attendees and bar staff. That includes not vaping at the bar and not blowing large clouds in the direction of anyone. Anyone failing to meet this minimum behaviour requirement will be asked to refrain from whatever it is they are doing. Failure to do so will result in them being asked to leave the meet.

Unless a lot of people say that they are in favour of banning the cloud chasers then I personally think that we should give them a chance. In all fairness maybe they were just a bit thoughtless, and I did not see them vaping towards the bar anymore after I spoke to them.

Jessica and I will make it very clear to them beforehand that they are not to vape at the bar. If anyone has an opinion on this but doesn't want to post on the forum they can always pm me.

I think there is a big difference between standing at the bar chatting and vaping normally (not over the bar) and blowing clouds over the bar. I was chatting to the A-Team (Phoenixflame (Julie) + jessica) at the end of the bar and probably vaping normally, not leaning on the bar a couple of feet away.

What I saw was directional aiming, directly into the face of the barman. That's not vaping, that's bullying.

What lairey said. Thinking out loud, this is a social event and people need to behave. Unfortunately we may have to spell out the rules. Vapers are expected to behave in a respectful and sociable manner towards everyone, vapers and non vapers.
Vaping should be restricted to the areas the meet is occupying and care to other people that are using the space. Unacceptable Behaviour such as blowing clouds to people will not be tolerated and people will be asked to leave.
I dont want cloudchasers to be excluded but here places and time to do that, the meet is not one of them. If people can't accept that they shouldn't come.

If I had to meet you people in a non vaping event I would, out of appreciation and respect, because this is a great group, and that's what the meet is all about for me. (If there is no booze this might be a problem )

On leaving saturday night i endured 2 hour bus ride home, i was tired pee'd off, did i reach for whisky bottle (no i did not have one), no, did i reach for Istick in pocket to fog upper deck, no, behave like a sensible adult thats all it takes.
