Hi, welcome turbogeek. I'm sure you'll get the advice you want, but as I'm still a beginner it's all way above my head ???

turbogeek- hi and a warm welcome. Whilst I have not yet had any experience of a box mod, other than an iStick which isn't really one, I do use a mechanical mod, with good quality Samsung 18650s, and sub-ohm to about .8ohm, although my kit would go quite a bit lower safely. Something like the Plume Veil or Magma dripper from Fasttech would be a great introduction to both coiling and dripping. You can use both these as single coil drippers, and they work really well with that setup, but as you get more advanced you can pop two coils in and sub ohm quite nicely. They both perform well and from FT are really cheap too. The box mod experts will no doubt be along soon to help you more, but in the meantime I hope this helps!

Hi turbogeek I second using the 306 bridged dripping atty. They are so faff free for tying out different flavours, no need to wash tanks out between flavours or wait for new flavours to come through if not washing .. a couple of puffs and you are there with the new flavour. I used these when I started out, while reading up on various drippers available. Although I have other drippers now, I still use these. You can get them here: www.smokerainbow.com/brands/Bauway.html and while you are there you can also pick up sample flavours to try As far as I can see they post to US. Good Luck ....... Edit Link doesn't appear to be working try this one www.smokerainbow.com/bauway-lr306-bridged-atomizer-red/
