Hi everyone! Nice to meet you! I quit analogs last year thanks to vape.
I am now looking to upgrade my kit. I love what I see with the Kanger Subtank but I am a little confused about which device to buy to go with it. It states the device needs to handle 30 watts. I am looking to spend around $100-$150 max for a device. I was looking at the Innokin iTaste SVD 2.0 but that says 20 watts. Can anyone help me out please? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Just YouTube it mate. I think your a little confused over Watts and Amps. When you go sub Ohm (under 1ohm) you have to have the right battery.

I'd have a go at a mech if I was you. Get a decent (safe) battery (2?) and charger, then something like a nemesis from fasttech. With the coil at 0.5Ohms you'll be hitting 30-33Watts from the off, with no electronics to worry about. I'm not too hot with the latest electronic devices (DNA40 etc), I'm sure some suggestions will follow shortly

Hi! I wouldn't go with the SVD 2.0. Quite a lot of folk in the US are saying it's not quite up to the job. It's a great mod (and chip) but not the real deal for sub ohm clearos. (apparently)...

Hey welcome to the forum i just got a Subtank i'm using it on the Sigelei 50W V2 Box Mod, fires great. I picked that one because it will fire down to 0.2? whereas a lot of the variable devices only fire down to 0.5?. The prebuilt sub ohm heads with the Subtank are 0.5? but i figure why not give myself that extra wiggle room resistance wise. Whichever device you go for it will have to go down to at least 0.5? to fire the sub ohm coils on the Subtank. Another thing to think about is the Subtank has a 25mm diameter whereas most are 22mm so if you don't want that hangover on the sides keep that in mind, it fits great on the Sigelei i bought. You can see mine here. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/49133/starts?page=1&scrollTo=858400

dr00g, your kit looks great. i was actually looking at the Sigelai 100w Plus.
Anyone know how often do the atomizer heads need replaced in the Subtank for a fairly heavy all-day vaper? I will probably get into the RBA a little later down the road when I get a bit more experience. Just wondering how many attys to order for now. Thanks!

Depends on how much you use it, i've had mine less than a week so can't really say. There are some tutorials on rewicking/recoiling the prebuilt heads on Youtube. Also if you don't fancy rolling your own coils but want to use the RBA you can buy ready rolled replacement coils for it. 20 coils plus cotton for £9.99, you don't have to duel coil it you could just use a single coil each time. They're 1ohm so if you duel coil it that will take the resistence down to 0.5ohm. myepack.co.uk/accessories/rba-pre-made-coils.html

Thanks again so far guys.
One more question, is there an easy way to test different flavors of juice without having to have lots of hassle? I mean, if I fill this tank and then want to try six different flavors I ordered how can I do that the easiest? Thanks again!
