Hi guys, I placed an order with Vapelink.co.uk a week ago and have not recieved my order. They won't even respond to my emails. Has anybody had any dealings with this company good or bad? I'm not sure what to do next!

I've not come across them before mikemichelle & they certainly wouldn't get vendor status on here as they are breaking Distance selling regulations as they have no contact details. What is it showing for you under the "order status" tab?

I'm not sure what to do next! Haven't had any dealings with them but looking at their website I couldn't see an address. I only deal with companies on the AAEC vendors list, because they have to comply with the Distance Selling Regulations, or companies who give an address on their website. This isn't fool proof as some companies give the registered company address which may be a solicitor or accountant. If you paid by credit card you will be able to get your dosh back eventually if the goods don't arrive.

Ah Brambles, well found! I knew I had come across that name before - the owner of the notoriously bad ecigwarehouse ETA - I've just checked out ecigwarehouse's website & there are so many similarities it has to be them.

I think this is the one that keeps coming up time and time again on other forums, selling from flat in Brum on dropost job, google the address to see other problems, but first tell paypal/credit card co, hope by god you've not paid by cheque or transfer to a company with no name on website !!

Hi guys, Many thanks for all the replies. I paid by credit card and have sent another email to day advising that if I have still not received my order within the next 5 working days, I will be contacting my bank and claiming a "chargeback". There's obviously something dodgy about Vapelink who haven't even responded to any of my emails. Apart from a "chargeback" (which I found by Googling the problem), does anyone know what else I can do to try and either get my goods or get a refund? I've found all other companies so good and quick dispatching orders and to be honest, I had an uncomfortable "gut feeling" about this site which I should have listened to! We live and learn!

mikemichelle = a chargeback is surprisingly easy to do. The credit card companies will take your side unless the supplier can prove that you received the goods. Having worked in travel for many years, it always surprised me how many people were able to "claim" that they had a problem with their holiday and make a chargeback for the full amount and as we weren't able to prove that the problem they claimed to have had with a part of their holiday wasn't true or only equated to a small amount of the money they paid, the credit card companies would never side with us.

I've had 2 instances of this, first a computer that never got delivered, company bankrupt, visa did not hesitate on refund, second mobile phone from scam company in Thailand that claimed to be in UK, paypal handled it brilliant, gave refund, 6 weeks later phone turned up along with emails demanding I return it to Germany at my own cost, my reply you collect it, still sitting in original packaging on living room table one year later lol.

I've just "discovered" (I had forgotten ... duhhhhh!!!) that my order was actually paid through PayPal. I thought I had just made a credit card payment outside of PayPal. Right ... now I can formally start a claim to get my money back!

What is it showing for you under the "order status" tab? Hi ChrissieApologies but with all the "excitement" I overlooked your question. The weird thing here is I went to check the "order status tab" and the order had been marked as "shipped" (9 days ago). Cutting a long story short, I just went and opened a dispute in PayPal and literally a few minutes later, the order status had changed to "refunded". Go figure ....?!
