Was having problems with my kayfun 4 clone's screws not griping the wire i wanted to use(27g), it was always slipping out and was driving me nuts, so i looked about and ordered these... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221326204336Work perfect for my clone and enjoying my builds much more. Just thought it was worth passing on. |

Is that the same place that Tom linked to a while back? Some of my kayfuns have problems gripping thicker wire. Really should get it together to order some better replacement screws  |

I've replaced all mine with some of eBay, they've got hex heads but are really good for thicker wire.

why not just wrap the wire around the screw head instead of just trapping it?

yep tried that geordie, sometimes it would help and sometimes it wouldn't, these screws just make it easy and more reliable.
