Are you going to use the on board buttons or solder on additional buttons ?

You'll probably have to build some kind of frame to hold it then secure the frame to the box with epoxy etc. The other thingI've found with the vamo board is that the buttons and the screen sit at different levels, or they do on the chips I have. I was hoping to have mine finished, but ordered li poly batteries from deal extreme on 3rd October last year and they haven't arrived yet. So at the minute I haven't decided exactly how mines will sit, but I'm not using the on board buttons as that will allow more scope how to fit the chip in the box. Tagging VapingBad, maybe he will have a few idea's.

is it possible to use other buttons for the voltage/menu/ it dosnt look as if theirs enough room to get a soldering iron in to make new connections to the old buttons .

Yes. You can solder to the on board switches then place them wherever you like. You have to solder to the legs on the board, making sure you get the proper two legs on each switch.

Yep i done similar in an old tobacco tin a few months ago When doing the main fire button and voltage adjust buttons, just solder to one side of the button as below oh and a little blue tack holds the board fine for me lol and i used the vamo top cap as well, just epoxied to the tin also a video here about it
