Private I vote for as at the last one we only know the people who was at the camp site that we all met at :-)

But then again a open one with a Aaec banner and badges would also would but as always you all know me I'm easy lol

OK, so it was the 1st one I'd been to, but I'm sure everyone would agree that it was superb Even the inclement weather wasn't off putting, but I'll bring my wellies next time

Athough VapingBad was a lifesaver with his rigged up tepee as i'm not sure it would have been so fun sat out in the persisting rain at midnight -  but Jon even supplied weeny night lights, barbecue and camping tables - talk about organised! and 'the lads' supplied some very strange local homebrews, what on earth was in those tiny colours shot glasses? and can you make a vape juice the same... 

Us ladies even had bodyguards to escort us to and from loo, now before you think its because its a rough area - not so! its 'cos the mens loo was closest and our armed guards checked and cleared the toilets so we could save our weary legs and blushes

Pepperty this will be a marque resting area on the saturday in the main vapefest bit amidst the stalls and other bits.
I'm hoping to camp this year. The camping area looked very cosy and well organised

@johanino I just wanted to say that the camping fields are absolutely massive, there's no uncomfortable crush going on, with plenty of open space between the stalls area and lots of pathways to various toilet blocks and a river bank and loads of cow barns etc. so if you feel hemmed in or anxious with crowds there's lots of opportunity to take a stroll away and unwind

I'm sure you would manage? I know a couple of members were concerned last year about this, but commented after the event how they managed to cope with social anxiety and other issues much better than they hoped

I'd really suggest prowling through all the photos on official site, it'll give you an idea on some pictures - of how much space there is @johanino

If you felt the need you can camp in a tucked away corner and then choose to mingle to suit. I only really noticed when I was driving away that there was space right at top of field by back lane ( I was toilet counting!) and there's also some space round the corner by stream (and back of loos) which caught my eye and appealed -- short loo walks!

So although many people camped in batches you can easily string out and find a cosy spot that just feels right to you! My basic plan was; park up, tent on Friday, if I didn't meet up/see members or even like camping and/or people I could have gone home after looking around at the stalls on Saturday morning... I could make my excuses and run away!

Obviously everyone was brilliant, it was great fun and I stayed until Sunday morning but if you were coming by train you can just get an open return ticket and go back to station and home when you feel like... its very flexable

I would ideally fly from/to Birmingham/Manchester and train from there...

If you think I'm getting a train to staffordshire - think again! Pepperty.

Flybe go to Manchester and I think Birmingham from aberdeen

Why not? its only about 8 hours by train and Stafford is on the main line...........by the time you faff about with airports and waiting and booking in, you can just jump a few trains - bet its easier, Aberdeen-Haymarket-Wolverhampton-Shrewsbury or Aberdeen-Crewe-Shrewsbury

Was thinking .... always dangerous .... we'd (collectively) be looking to hire tables, chairs, maybe have a fridge, tea/coffee facilities. If anyone has any ideas how and where to get this stuff from then shout out. Plus any other ideas would be most welcome

That was Sambuca(ish) basically an aniseed liqueur
