k1000 tank

Loving my new k1000 pipe, but the tank that came with is giving loads of burnt hits (it's great with a pro tank 2), but looking at the standard tank it looks simple enough to 're-coil. My question is what sort of wicking material should I use in it?, could I just roll up some cotton or rayon, would that work ok?. Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, just that I'm unsure what to use to wick it.

Without seeing the coil arrangement it is a bit difficult to say wil7985 but rayon would be my suggestion. If the coil works like a Protank head, then either cotton or rayon would probably work. Are you thinking of winding a new coil too, or just replacing the wick on the head you have? Personally I would be tempted to have a go at a new coil too, you'll get much better results that way!
If you could pop up a picture of the coil it would help us give a more informed reply

The coil head looks very similar to a vivi nova to me, and yes was going try making a new coil, got nothing to lose anyway can't vape it as it is chykensa

The coil that came with mine (and the spares I bought after) are all 2.4 ohm so not that hot a vape. As its a top mounted coil I find I sometimes have to give the tank a little swirl to make sure the wick is soaked enough as i tend to keep the juice level quite low in it.

I didn't have much luck with that tank. I found the evod 2 to be a nice budget replacement
