Waiting for my FT batteries and just realised that I have a tracking number, is there anyway/where to track surface mail stuff?

Waiting for my FT batteries and just realised that I have a tracking number, is there anyway/where to track surface mail stuff? My FT battery orders have been showing for over a month on 17track, they were > $20. My GearBest Cloupor Mini isn't showing anywhere. |

Mine show on 17track as well, they got onboard ship 15th December but it's not REALLY tracking is it? I want to know which ocean it's crossing now, and which countries it is visiting  Just put my Gearbest code in as well, NOTHING |

They are not going to scan the barcodes every 100 miles for such a cheap service, Focal and GearBest are not tracking at all despite them providing tracking numbers.

My August despatched batteries took 6 weeks. I'm waiting for my Dec 23rd despatched ones, but latest tracking says, item left Hong Kong for its destination on 9-Jan-2015. Don't know if they just wait until a container is filled and loaded aboard ship? |

Q - now that would be a way to while away the dark winter evenings, watching your batteries make their way towards you at the rate of about 150 miles per day, stopping off in other ports along the way. Surely the Chinese could develop a small wireless transmitter chip attached to each package which pings its location via GPS every hour?
