Can i remove the air screw ?

Evening all

A very quick question please, can i completely remove the air screw in my Kayfun lite V2 as not airy enough just wondered before i removed it incase it leaks.

I took the air hole screw out of mine 2 weeks ago and no leaks so far Grandad

Whip it out Grandad, if it's not leaking now the removal of the screw won't cause it to leak

Depends how you have it wicked I guess. Got mine on my purple orchid and the juice does come through the air hole sometimes, threads do have to have some clearance so you can turn them, that means there is a slight gap for any liquid to run through them. Seeing as the airflow screw is halfway, it should leak a little.

Orchid is quite different though, firstly there's no airflow screw to remove and the airflow inlet is on the deck and not elevated like it is on the kayfun.

You will create a new low point you cannot see, that's all. where as now if you lose vacuum it will weep from the airhole, with the grub screw removed it will weep from the hole at bottom, sort of does now anyway as the grub screws not air/juice tight.

Take it out and just check under the atty every now and then if in doubt.

Sorry Greg for the confusion, the "purple orchid" is the epipe from Limelight Mechanics. The atomizer on it is a Kayfun lite+ from c9v

Now this sounds wrong but I took it out and had a little dribble so whipped it back in and all is good will have to stick with a tightish draw.

Give it an extra shake before putting it back stops the weeping, not too many though that's called something else....ha ha ...had my "daddy chat" with my two boys today.....

Cut a washer to seal it, a bit of plastic from something boughted (all rights Perpetua), you know the plastic packaging that has a cardboard back. It will also protect your device if a little gets through.

here is the plastic on my vaporshark, the inevitable juice from air holes on my drippers, orchid V4 sits on this, not into the device to attack circuit boards....

most people get a slightly larger drill bit & make the air hole bigger, I did with mine & it improved the draw.
