Cloupor mini explodes!!

This is really worrying as it looks as if Clouper haven't really addressed the problem or cared much that there was one in the first place. I hope that nobody gets seriously hurt or, God Forbid, killed by one of these exploding in a pocket etc. Could also start a very serious fire in someone's home. We don't need bad publicity at the moment. And the press won't see it as an electrical/improper charging/faulty workmanship/ bad design fault but as a problem with Vaping and E-cigs in general.

I ordered one of these then cancelled it and bought an sx mini instead. I was hoping that Cloupor would have sorted out the issue but obviously not and with their failings so far any future devices with their name on it will, for me, be given a wide berth. If a company thinks it fine to feed the consumer a large pile of bullshit and fob them off with a 15 second "test" with an admission that it ONLY  affected 50 units when they probably haven't a clue how many have an issue and what the issue is. We bang the drum about safe vaping and making it a pleasurable experience, I don't know where the pleasure is in using this device when every time a battery is installed you have to pull your bum cheeks together and hope it doesn't go into meltdown. Apart from sitting staring at it, How do you vape safely with this device ?

The test is bull and any of these devices sold or to be sold could do this.

owning a cloupor is like taking a gremlin to the swimming pool
you know the risks but will take them anyway

So glad I returned mine now, I was on the fence seeing all the posts about a lot of them being fine and passing the 'test' but I fear there may be more problems ahead. I for one would rather be safe and sleep easy.

good for you and hope more follow to many of these have fried in a short space of time

how ever meany they have fubared a good percentage will still be in circulation and its not worth the risk of buying one
i am still using mine having removed the flammable glue i feel safer but have new innards on the way (clone dna type thing)

we know these things can and do have a melt down unfortunately joe blogs dont and thats when it gets dangerous

I'm not only disappointed at Cloupor's handling of this issue i'm also disappointed that a lot of vendors are choosing to continue to sell these units when they are surely aware of the problem these units have.
Surely there must be some kind of return policy vendors can use or a stop payment.reverse payment protection with whatever credit service they have used so they aren't left eating the costs themselves?

you aint getting hate, it is a fair point to make these issues known, you've taken decision not to get one due to issues, obviously any info regarding these mods is helpful.
