yup! but even if I use it to get notifications only, its worth it for me as I cant hear my phone ring most of the time but I wont miss it if the smart watch is ringing or vibrating on my wrist! being hard of hearing has some massive drawbacks and there isn't a ringtone supplied ( or made) that gets my attention from the depths of my handbag

Ma is hard of hearing and has one (and a sock attached to it she scavenged) and doesn't make any difference but makes her feel better

I am loving my zenphone. Still getting used to all the preinstalled apps but never mind. Working well. No probs with battery life like last year's reviews said

ha! since I updated to tizen (and used stock clock faces rather than photo adds) I'd say two days conservative use?
But they charge up spectacularly swiftly and I have a sleeping app I like to use ... so I top battery up before bed and set to sleep mode via app.

No, you cant watch TV from it but it does work very well as a remote control for my netflix and I have a few handy apps besides the obvious camera/voice recorder/text and email reader/answering phonecalls but I am using the older version one smart watch. Its got loads of sports apps...but they dont interest me much ( I dont exersize!) Ive got alarms, pill reminders, water usage, sleep patterns, ebay alerts, FB, twitter etc. all social network alerts plus calculator, contacts and dialler and its all controlled via a gear app on my phone. The one thing it has done is significantly lengthened battery life on my phone itself.

On samsungs latest version you can browse the net and type via a teeny weeny keypad

i went for the sony smart watch as its supposed to last 3 days(my arce more like 10 hours)i use it for music at work
im pretty sure you can browse the net on yours but didnt know if video was poss
one of the best apps for the sony is find my phone (it makes yer phone bleep lol)
have a look on xda forums and see what else your watch can do you might be surprised lol

yes I've been nosing about xda lately, I can see what is possible via the galaxy gear, I probably wont bother doing any of it though! I'm a bit lazy....

I used to build websites and code but I got fed up and quit -- after about 10 years of self teaching, I went out and got a life (inside vaping forums ) but you know what I mean sometimes you have to move on

Thanks to this wee case (including it's cracked plastic bit - fixed with sellotape ) this phone has survived me dropping it. I call that £120 well spent! Thanks guys.
