hey there.. everything your saying i can relate to 100% the cheepy ecig things sold in the average corner shops and other places now are a great way to find out if you like vaping.. but you soon start to get pissed off with them and back on the fags.. i too went to a kanger tank and a better battery along with some really nice flavours.... i have to admit i smoked the odd roll up at certain times but used the e cig the rest of the time.. i then switched to a rebuildable device and a mod ( battery ) with full control over the power.. havent touched a fag in over 8 months, and was a heavy smoker for over 25 years. but the bottom line is well done and stick with vaping.. one definite top tip for the stage your at is have spares of EVERYTHING... if something dies, runs out or breaks and you only have the one of them the only other option is a pack of smokes.. i fell over so many times due to not having juice, spares, batteries etc. Juice I have plenty of the thing I wasn't prepared for is that the coils don't seem to last very long. I'm waiting on some for the Protank mini to arrive. One is tasting burnt and the other doesn't seem to give much vapour off at all now but tastes fine. I'm determined not to go back to Ciggies no matter what even if I have to try and set fire to my juice and inhale it that way lol. If your a heavy smoker like me you will get through the coils at a rate.. you have two options.. the first is to wash them, pop them in a cup and poor boiling water over them and give them a good stir and swill round.. leave to soak over night or at least a couple of hours. shake off excess water and pat dry with towels or similar. leave to dry naturally. you will get a couple more days out of each one.. or buy some kanthal a1 wire and wick and rebuild the ones you have purchased, its a bit fiddly at first but you soon get the hang of it. instead of paying £5+ for a pack of 5 it will cost you about 10p per coil to do yourself. ( if you decide to take this option there is a bit more to it but ask on here and you will get plenty of help. ) this will then get you interested in the stage im now at. a fully rebuild-able rig, lots of fun and lots of help out there now from forums like this.

watsits shinyitis beckons Fast tech and robby are thy friends Get the kit right and it's plain sailing 3 years plain sailing for me. VTR is heavy but doesn't take long to get used to. also a huge fan of the MVP but prefer my VTR as I have a nice leather case for it I got from Leigh - silly nilly on etsy (can get you the link if you'd like? If it's not on her store email her and she'll make up) I also have the smart-20 from FT (fast tech) with a case from heaven gifts which I like. It's very light compared to the VTR but sometimes necessary Finally welcome You may have a point on the VTR. I have just had hold of an MVP the owner swore it was genuine but it felt really plasticy and cheap feeling not like other Innokin stuff I've had hold of. I like the idea of the case especially if it fits on a belt. This is the link for Leigh's wraps/cases - www.etsy.com/uk/shop/SillyNilly?section_id=16275635&ref=shopsection_leftnav_7My VTR wrap/case from her doesn't fit on a belt but I'm sure if you get it touch with her she can make one. Takes 2-3 weeks to makes for her then another 3 weeks for shipping but so worth it!

OK I've ended up with a load of coils for my Kanga tanks so that's sorted for a while. I've just purchased an Eleaf, and off the classifieds an MVP and an Itaste.(I can see this costing more than smoking LoL). I also picked up an Iclear 30 the one with the wicks are the Iclear coils interchangeable or will I need to stick to the same as I have? The best bit is I'm still fag free RESULT...

ah, that's the catch! the longer you go smoke free, the more you decide to treat yourself but there's nothing to regret about vaping gear! tbh a year in and I couldnt get by on ONE specific mod, I need 5 or 6 to suit the occasion/my mood and fret not as 'shinyitus' does tail off eventually

So I thought I'd treat my self as a pat on the back and find out what I'm going to carry on with. All the "better" batteries are used ones at he moment but when they arrive I'll know what I want in the long run and buy new. Next on the agenda is looking at re-coiling but with dodgy eyesight and a slightly buggered left hand I may have to admit defeat on this one but I will give it a shot.

I just bought a new mobile and smart watch on my profits from quitting, and i'm very smugly enjoying my state of the art gear so even though I've spent out buckets on vape gear I do have a fabulous collection, loads of eliquid AND spare money, its kept me on the straight and narrow and there's no way i'd fall back to smoking ( I couldnt anyway - my mother would kill me!) theres ways and means to recoiling, you probably can find a way - fasttech china sell ready made coils and a magnifier and led light stand makes it all quite easy. You can even get kuro coilers that make the microcoil for you so I'm sure you can give it a shot ? or pick a tank with a massive deck!

Hi mate, and good on you for giving the stinkies up. best thing i have ever done. i think whatever the cost of vaping gear its a small price to pay compared to the cost of smoking and your health. im loving the world of vape'ing and i think all the trying new things juices, tanks, mods keeps me more focused, if i get bored i build a new coil, speaking of which, i gave up on the rebuilding the kangertech micro coils, and now using bigger tanks and find it alot easier. Anyway noth of me yapping on.
Welcome to AAEC spk soon BM

As long as you put a bit of effort in in the beginning to find suitable kit/juice/etc., you can very easily reach a state of equilibrium. Yes, it may seem expensive in the first month or two, but it's capital expenditure which should exponentially reduce Just don't get dragged into the "gotta have the latest" stuff, and you'll save buckets..... re-coil your heads and save more..... tip:- www.fasttech.com/products/1593911 make re-coiling kanger heads a doddle start mixing your own juice....save EVEN MORE!!! just don't put too much pressure on yourself, take it at your own pace, and above all, enjoy being fag-free

I've got 2 Kanga mini pro tanks, 1 Protank 3, and an Iclear 30. I'm not keen on the Protank 3 unless I sort of grip around the base of the tank as there doesn't seem to be any resistance? this may be due to the fact I'm still expecting the draw to be like a cigarette. Juice side I've found a local supplier that works for me although the last flavour I got, yesterday, Strawberry I seem to have annihilated if I could get a spoon in there I'd have probably eaten it. so out of the £200 I've not spent on fags I've spent £80 on e-cig paraphernalia which would have gone up in smoke in 11 days but should last a fair while. I just have to kill the person who pointed out Fastech now and all will be good!

some tanks are naturally a lighter, airier draw than others - this you will get used to over time, especially on the PT3 (you could get an airflow control base for it to tighten the draw (http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011133/1654500-authentic-airflow-control-valve-for-protank-2 all of £2.30ish). For ready-made juice at very cheap prices, look at joose juice (30ml bottles BOGOF so 60ml around £7 (forum discount code available), and the 10ml testers are only £1.50 so try before buying 30mls) and £1 liquid (£1 per 10ml and flat-rate of £1.50 postage however many you order, forum dissy code available for first order). Killing a fasttech advocate could wipe out most of us on here, so it'd be considered a bit rude And like I said, once settled with kit/juice, the ongoing costs should plummet

Just let me know I have just ordered a Nautilus Mini off Vape escapes. After someone at work let me try theirs I was impressed by the fact that the adjustable air holes actually stayed where I put them unlike the kanger Mini I have. I've also found out the Protank 3 Is quite good at those direct lung hits without ripping the back of my throat off (well I had to try them sooner or later) although I think I'll keep them for at home and not try them at work like this afternoon oops who let the fog machine off. Thanks for the offer though @johanino this is what makes this forum great.
