Hi Watsits,I'm coming on to give you a slapped wrist! You Say you have 'only' Bern smoke free for 10 days, which is nowhere near the rest of us. While that is true, it is irrelevant! 10 days is a huge achievement, and what you have to remember is that those 10 days as your first 10 days will have been so much more difficult than the last 10 days for any of us who are accustomed to it, give yourself some credit and DON'T compare!!! That said, hello and welcome Slapped wrist accepted and thank you. I'm more surprised than anything in the fact that this time round I'm not missing it in the slightest. I bought it on he Friday used it all day woke up the next day lit up a cigarette as you do first thing in the morning had one pull thought ew and that's been it since. I still blame that picture of the Cigarette with the gunk coming out of it though. The bus journey into work is the worst though the smell of some of them and then you think I stank the same yuck!

I used to get through two 50g pouches of Golden Virginia per week, I've been Tobacco free for eight months two weeks thanks to vaping. The best thing I have ever done and the only solution that worked for me.

hiya watsits welcome to AAEC forum and congratulations it all gets easier from here, and you look like a prime contender for 'shinyitus' I bet you will soon be buying tons!! I'd definitely reiterate and say that the likes of fasttech (and other china companies) are a real saving, most gear we buy comes from there anyway, with fasttech they put 'authentic' in front of items that are the real deal, like kanger, innokin, aspire. There's great savings to be made by ordering your coils and having stock in. You soon get used to the few weeks wait and plan accordingly

When buying from fasttech it's good practice to scroll down the page and look at the 'Discussions'. Saved me a few embarrassments. Even better to come here and ask our opinions.
Fasttech is considered safe used the right way, the same can be said for focalecig. We've recently been delving into the offerings from other chinese vendors, but I feel the jury is still out on them.

watsits shinyitis beckons Fast tech and robby are thy friends Get the kit right and it's plain sailing 3 years plain sailing for me. VTR is heavy but doesn't take long to get used to. also a huge fan of the MVP but prefer my VTR as I have a nice leather case for it I got from Leigh - silly nilly on etsy (can get you the link if you'd like? If it's not on her store email her and she'll make up) I also have the smart-20 from FT (fast tech) with a case from heaven gifts which I like. It's very light compared to the VTR but sometimes necessary Finally welcome

You have a similar story to mine I was at 40 years plus smoking though, did all the same things as you with the patches, hypnosis, spray, acupuncture etc etc etc. The advice given about pure VG may not have been good as you would be more likely to get dry burny vapes with VG because it is thicker in consistency so cant get through the wick easily. I use a tobacco flavour almost exclusivly and love it but it`s 70/30 mix usually, so a lot thinner than VG. As for the journey, once I started vaping it was a revelation, about 2 and a half years now. I almost felt guilty because it had been so easy. You`ve come to a forum full of people with trusty good advice. You will soon see how pleasurable vaping can be with the right kit (not expensive either) You probably need to move on from the type of thing you are using. Kit is so inexpensive now, honest icon_shoppingm lolol

Welcome watsitsAnybody who says cig-a-likes are a waste of time and money gets my vote. E-lites promised me 40 cigarettes for only £3.99. Sadly, it took me about 2 weeks to realise they didn't really give me 40 cigarettes in Nicotine. Meanwhile, I had emptied the entire shelf in Morrisons with the help of Mr Visa debit card. I told E-lites they were bunch of lying thieving gits on some internet sites and they threatened me. Strange way to get into Vaping... but I'm still here, puffing away for about £1 a day... and loving it! Huge well done to you for going for it!

I have had a nosey around the sight and will probably be buying some smaller stuff soon see how it goes then maybe try some of the mods. You may be right about the Shinyitus bit we have a very expensive disease in skating called SEDS "Skate Equipment Deficiency Syndrome" which has cost me a small fortune over the years icon_shoppingm

I have just had hold of an MVP the owner swore it was genuine but it felt really plasticy and cheap feeling not like other Innokin stuff I've had hold of. I like the idea of the case especially if it fits on a belt.
