Kayfun v4 arrived today :D

As mentioned i had ordered one of these puppies.. 
arrived at work midday, spent 3 hours taking it to bits and trying to put it back together. 

I love to know how things work rather than just use them until they dont work. 

have a couple of questions for other Kayfun 4 owners, experts.. 

after getting my head around how the whole thing works and mastering the juice control i proceeded to start using it. 

after filling with juice and turning the juice control to the on position im not seeing any small bubbles start filtering through. 
i was lead to believe that this is supposed to happen. 
i also get a bit of leakage to start with.. 

would i be correct in thinking that if the juice control is off and i blow down the drip tip ( is that the correct term? ) i should get a small amount of juice come out of the air holes while it emtpys whats in the chamber until eventually nothing comes out... 
this would prove the juice control and seals are all working. 
and when in the on position if i blow again it will poor out of the air holes?

Is it genuine or a clone?

In theory sealing off the juice flow and then blowing through it should clear out the chamber but I NEVER have to do this with mine and use it every day.

Have you tried experimenting with your wick?

I use a thick wedge of Muji, loosely in both sides and I haven't had a single drop leak on me since I've owned it.

Other members also have had juice leak if they leave it upright for a period of time with the juice flow open.

Again I haven't had this issue, I either have sussed the wicking out or I'm just arsehole lucky

My first Clone from FT didn't have the Juice holes drilled all the way through so I'm waiting for the slowboat to bring me another deck!!! In the mean time I ordered another from the UK and I've got to say I'm not feeling the love!!! It's not a patch on the Heron or the Taifun in my opinion!!! Keep your eyes on the Classies there could be a cheap pair of V4's goiung in the near future!!!

Can't really add much as only got my Kayfun 4 set up today too.
But as Mr above maybe I just lucked out as its working fine, in fact better than fine if it doesn't play me up then its up against the lemo I have ordered to take top spot for me.

Make sure your wicks cover "ALL" 4 holes on the deck.

This should solve your leaks problem.

n.b. Always "close" juice control when not in use.

thanks for the vid link.. have lost count how many i have watched, thats the first one i enjoyed and kind of pooled all the bits i have picked up and combined them in a simple way.

its a clone  
wanted to try it as it was cheeeep 
will probably get the genuine as im already in love with it. 

have just stripped re built and i must have done something wrong the first 7 times, as its been a dripless vape this time.. 
kinda pleased cause i was getting through Juice like crazy.

When i went from the kanger pro tank mini to the kayfun 3.1 i had to drop the Nicotine strength from 24 to 18...

now on the v4 i might have to drop it again..

my usual vapes taste completely different and blowing my head off.

I have an authentic KF4 and you are correct it is not as good as my GP Heron.
