Am I right in thinking that the main purpose of temp sensing coils is to avoid dry hits? Seems handy for RDAs and RTAs but I don't see the point in clearomisers like the nautilus or subtank. I've never had a dry hit with them. No avoiding dry hits is just a bonus and the least beneficial aspect of the temp limiting, being able to fine tune your flavour, consistency and automatic pre-heat are more important IMO. It is great being able to run your tank dry especially if you have big wicks, I must have wasted load of liquid when changing wicks before. The pre-heat is much smarter that the profiles you get on other devices it will boots power until the temperature is 100 F below the set temperature or a second, whichever comes first. It is amazing how much difference 10 F can make to the flavour, you need to experiment to find the sweet spot and some people aren't aware so don't try. On Origenny2 clone (dual 3 mm ss rope wicks) I can set the watts high, set the temp to 400 and regulate my vape by airflow (as this setup never gurgles, floods or fails to wick fast enough), I can take long slow lung inhales or fast lung inhales and get great flavour from both.

Just seen this on a highly respectable modders facebook page Just googled these guys. - Evolve DNA40 40 watt chip. - Fat Daddy Vapes V3 or Varitube spring loaded 510. - Anodized enclosure V3. (Silver, Blue, Red, Green) - Evolve USB Charger. From my own personal experience in red might be their "unreliable" The spring in the Varitube does not carry any current, it just pushes the centre brass connector against the atty.

No issues with mine apart from the first use, and having connection issues in the Lemo, sorted that and it's been spot on since.

When I answered you just now, I had just checked both UKV and FB - nothing - think he must have an issue just because he can't get it to work - it was the DNA40 version of his that I was interested in, but have now ordered another type from 3fVape (the blue VF v3) for £46.68 inc shipping similar to the one robby got.

im not being nasty so please dont take this the wrong way but maybe some mod builders need to rethink how they use these or more to the point the parts they use because of this temp control any flaws in soldering, connections or parts will show as a fault on the board as far as some builders are concerned because its defo not there work new tech is always frustrating
