At home i mostly drip but for out and about and work i use a RBTA, i have a Orchid V4, Kayfun4, Fogger V4 and the new Kanger Subtank but i dont really enjoy them half as much as my drippers. No matter what build i use, the flavor seems muted and ive tried almost everything from .4 in my orchid to around 1.6 in all the others, ive used organic cotton, rayon and Japanese cotton as wicks.
Do i just need to face facts that drippers have much much better flavor and RBTA are just used to get me through the day?

Have tried various tanks over the past 2 months but I've slowly migrated back to my Origen v2 clone, and will be sticking with it, along with buying a few more for spares / backups. Just wish it had a bigger well for more juice. I'm tempted by the Origen v2 Genny clones, but the ones on FT seem poor going by the reviews.

Drippers are the best for flavour, there are some tanks that come close, very close, but just not quite there.

They've kinda ruined me though because everything else gets compared to them, and has so far lost over time. Kind of wish I'd never tried one now, as I'd be much better off due to spending £££'s trying to find a refillable tank that matches it. If you find a vendor of good v2 Genesis clones let me know!

Think of it as: During the week Vaping with Tanks is fine (it is fine for me) it's practical and reliable with little or no Faff. Evenings and weekends are for tasting Luxury and having the time and space to mess with coils and Drippers. tbh even if I'm coiling a Dripper I'll have a Tank to Vape on!

Sounds like you could need a squonker? by the sounds of it, it would be right up your street as you get a decent juice well and a dripper taste without the problem of storage/leakage

I'm converted! Tanks have no appeal now. I was so chuffed with my taifun collection but ... my bf cyclone gives me what I need on my firebox

I must be one of the few that tried dripping and couldn't get on with it flavour was better but not enough for all the faffing around am now happy with my rta's lemo when I want flavour and subtank if I just want to relax for the whole evening with slightly less flavour.

Been thinking about squonking for a while now, might need to get a set-up sorted. Any recommendations?

Try a Kraken with single microcoil and single wick going through both holes. Basically an auto dripper. Even with the open third hole it never leaks, even on it's side. You don't even need to tilt it once you figure out how much cotton to use, autowicks lovely, loads of vapour and flavour. 0.4Ohm 0.6mm coils are my favourite in it and I've tried virtually all of them!
